Wasn't one of them actually considering retiring due to injuries or to become a fireman or something? You're probably thinking of Davey Richards.

Actually they are highly intelligent and well spoken in person. Their gimmick is profanity using dumb rednecks. Also they've been pretty healthy lately.

I have become a huge mark for the Briscoes. They grow on you, not unlike a fungus.
I like them where they are. They can do their thing in ROH and on the indy circuit and be appreciated for who and what they really are. They are a true tag team, entertainingly reckless and give that kind of scary-real vibe that the Dudleys used to have, but in their own way.
You can take a Daniel Bryan or a CM Punk and water them down a bit and polish them up and let them learn to communicate to a WWE-level worldwide audience and, if they have the goods, watch them grow and thrive. These guys are too rough and, um, raw for that.

Yeah, these guys are true rasslers.
I can't see them being any good in the current WWE. They could come in sure, but then what? They'd be so watered down that they would be shadow of their current selves. Even their wrestling style is anti-wwe
What really needs to happen is for a either new wrestling company to come around that can compete with WWE, or for ROH to get big enough. There is definitely a market for this kind of wrestling on the national scale.
WWE is just too stylized, too glam right now.

Wasn't one of them actually considering retiring due to injuries or to become a fireman or something? Whenever a wrestler says their thinking of retiring and becoming a fireman, it's a code "I ain't singing no contract unless you fork over more money and/or give me a run with the belt." For example, Davey Richards.

I would rather them not make it to WWE, if there best option is to be the new Bushwackers.

Besides what everyone said about their injuries and personal baggage, in short, they're just a couple of carneys, not dancers or actors, and that is the difference between them, and top wrestlers of these days.

Last time I saw the Briscoes they were supporting some serious bacne. Forgive me for ignorance, but isn't bacne a sign of being on the juice?

I would rather them not make it to WWE, if there best option is to be the new Bushwackers. The Bushwackers, silly as they were, are still two of the most well-remembered wrestlers of their era. It's not an unflattering comparison.

Probably because their best wrestling move is "get injured", and they seem physically incapable of completing a sentence without peppering it with profanity. I've never gotten the love for them. Yeah, but they're a hard promo to replicate. Briscoes don't cut promos. They just talk normally to the camera. I think they could go far, they are a bit on the wild side though. Hopefully ROH gets bigger and that would mean bigger pay checks for them. They could save up for a new shack. Actually they are highly intelligent and well spoken in person. Their gimmick is profanity using dumb rednecks. Also they've been pretty healthy lately. I heard Mark has like a 140 IQ or something. Last time I saw the Briscoes they were supporting some serious bacne. Forgive me for ignorance, but isn't bacne a sign of being on the juice? It is, but it's not always the case. Believe me.
