Pushed to the moon? When was The Miz pushed to the moon?
Plus, the dude paid his dues, worked his ass off and earned what he got.

Quick question OP, did The Miz kick your puppy or piss in your cereal or something? Because you really seem to hate him! I just really hate him. And not in a "oh he's a heel boo this man" way. I just think he's one of the least talented guys in wrestling today, yet he's treated as a huge deal by WWE for some reason. The only time I ever enjoyed anything he did was when he was D-Bry's pro on NXT, specifically since they treated it as he didn't know squat and was going to get his comeuppance in the end. But the worst thing, for me at least, is that Miz literally does not wrestle. Watch the next Miz match, and count how many wrestling moves he actually does. I'm willing to bet it's less than 5. Last time I counted it was 2: an armlock and a DDT. The rest of the match was literally just punches and kicks.

Every one gets 2-5 spots and a finisher and they string it together with a bunch of punching. That's just how it goes. the WWE is Streetfighter to ROH's Tekken. Miz does the Neckbreaker/Backbreaker combo, the jumping clothesline in the corner, DDT, and the SKF (though he's done a few snapmare drivers to Kofi). Zack Ryder doesn't even get that much, he's pretty much Knees in the corner, bootwash, RR. Cena gets his five moves of doom but that's pretty much just one spot. Hell even people like DBD and Punk do it. It's not because that's all they've got it's just all 'E wants to see on TV. The difference is that the only time Miz gets more than 3 moves worth of offense booked it usually a tag match or a gimmick match and so his offense is a chair or a ladder or a cage spot. Miz rarely gets 30 minutes VS Punk no stipulations.

Didn't you or someone else make this same thread a couple of months ago?
I don't think Cena legit hates Miz when he's praised him quite often for doing public appearances and stuff for WWE. Not to mention he's talked about his work ethic and praised that in the past.

I guess no one really noticed that Cena was legit knocked loopy during an Irish-whip spot during the beginning of the match. His body stiffened up momentarily and everything. I thinks that's the main reason why their WM match seemed off. Didn't the Miz get knocked goofy during the match also?

Cena most likely knew that entire match would revolve around at what point will Rock show up. I get that would put a downer on anyone's match, if the spotlight was on someone not even in the match. Not Rock's fault, or even Cena's and Miz's. But simply the way it was booked. The ending didn't go down well either. ^This pretty much

I figured it wasn't quite Cena buring Miz last night. He often mocks his opponents for out there reasons. Like Slater's red hair.

Think Miz got knocked loopy after the clothesline spot on the outside, much later into the match.

I doubt they dislike each other, since Cena could veto working with Miz if he really didn't want to. If anything, I think it's since they have been enemies for years now, kayfabe, so without Edge around and Orton as a face, they're pretty much archenemies. So the derision will tend to be more brutal, especially since it's not like Miz shows Cena any respect, either. They put each other down constantly on-air.

Yeah, hating that he takes up TV time. I can understand that. Hating the man himself is a bit much.

plus he was pushed to the moon while many other more deserving guys were stuck floundering around. Oh yeah definitely, Going from Host of Smackdown, to Diva Search host, to being banned from the locker-room, to being on ECW just screams guy who got pushed to the moon. He was, though. Just because he had some hardships at first doesn't mean that once his push started, they were relentless about it. Miz was absolute garbage, so they saddled John Morrison with him. Morrison carried him through ECW until WWE thought Miz was a good promo guy (no idea where they got that idea). Then he shows up on RAW and is momentarily embarassed by Cena, but then he comes back with a new look and they fed the entire RAW midcard to him. He stays on a continual push to Money in the Bank, he cashes in and wins, and then he carries the WWE Title through multiple crappy matches and yet they still seem insistent on pushing the guy. Other guys are seemingly expected to be the second coming to get a push that good. Kofi Kingston is better than Miz. MVP was WAY better than Miz. Chris Masters was better than Miz. Drew McIntyre is lightyears ahead of Miz. Where is their push? Hell, two of them got fired.

Miz has been given way more chances than he deserves, and has been treated far better than he should. He has tons of merchandise, gets mic time every week, is usually in main event matches, and was one of the longest reigning WWE champs in a while. Meanwhile in pure wrestling talent he's about the bottom of the barrel in the current WWE (I'd say Otunga and Ryan are the only guys worse than him). His mic skills aren't bad but he says the same stuff every week. Really? Really? I am the most must see WWE champ even though I haven't been champ in months. If almost anybody else had as many poor matches as him they'd be pushed down the card super fast, but Miz just keeps sticking around like a turd you can't quite flush. My only guess is since he looks about 12 years old, maybe Vince got confused and thought he was a Make-A-Wish Kid that wanted to be a WWE superstar.

I am the most must see WWE champ even though I haven't been champ in months. COLE calls him the most must see champion in WWE history. Miz hasn't said it in months, if he even said it at all. I get that you hate the guy but you're really reaching for things to dislike about him. His promos are repetitive? Well blame the guy scripting them. He's given endless TV time? Blame WWE creative. None of this is his fault.

Miz is just a photogenic White dude that has previous television cred and is decent in media appearances. WWE has its preferences and Miz hit on a lot of them at the right time.
It's funny. I usually thought the same thing about Cena's constant presence on WWE shows, which makes this topic and the Miz-hate hi-larious to me. Just like people are beaten down into compliance when it comes to Cena being everywhere, it'll be the same thing with Miz. Assuming the guy doesn't outright kill anyone in the ring, he isn't going anywhere.
Then people will really start defending Miz's ring-work no matter how much he needs a weapon in his hand for it to be anything above average. Hmm.

I doubt he hates Miz. I mean sure he might dislike him wrestling but a hardworker like Cena would appreciate someone who works almost as hard as he does ala Miz. Miz went from nothing and became something, he's worked hard to get where he's at and even so he can't wrestle amazing but look where he is. It's hardwork. I'm sure Cena appreciates that.

None of this is his fault. When I saw that the premise for this thread ws based upon Cena's promos, I was going to say blame it on creative and scripting. The Miz has kind of taken over where Cena left off as far as media appearances and all that. When they were in Australia earlier this year, I heard of lots of appearances and interviews, and I think there was maybe one that didn't have The Miz (it was Kofi/Kelly). Consider that workload, plus the WWE show schedule, it's hard to deny that he works hard. You don't have to like the guy, and I'm not here to convince you otherwise, but I feel like you're being way too dismissive of things like this and just flat-out hating him for everything he does. He puts in a lot of time and work for the WWE, and he deserves some credit for that, at the very least.
