Just thought about this after naming Cody my favorite wrestler of 2011, and seeing that he's pretty high in the upper-midcard right now, will he make it all the way to the top, or is this where he levels out?

Will there be another solar eclipse? Will the Indianapolis Colts get to another Superbowl?
The answer to all three of these questions is yes, but the real question is when which is really hard to say. Cody's on the cusp but a lot of guys get on the cusp and never get past it, so when he'll break through is another matter entirely.

Cody really turned it up this year. I'd say he's improved the most out of the roster. Gimmick, mic work, skills, even physically Cody's turned it up. 2012 is going to ridiculous for him.

Cody is a rare example of a guy who wasn't supposed to succeed, but did anyway due to sheer talent.
Can you imagine what the meeting sounded like when they gave him the 'Dashing' gimmick? "You're just like Ravishing Rick Rude, except not as misogynistic. Oh, and next week, you shave your nose hairs on TV." I think 9 out of 10 guys fail with a gimmick like that. 4 of those 9 fail at Red Rooster levels, where it goes so badly that the entire rest of their career is damaged. Somehow, Cody made it awesome.
IMO, Cody has a better chance of a 1st World Title reign than anybody else on the roster.

I think it's inevitable. Lots of credit to him. He was given a new character but he took his game up a level. I love Cody.

They both got handed a gimmick that SHOULD have failed, probably taking their careers with it, but they somehow made it their own and turned it into something special. Hopefully, Cody has 'Taker's longevity.

I don't see any way that Cody doesn't win the World or WWE title at some point in 2012, likewise with Dolph Ziggler. He's just too good to avoid doing so.

Eventually? Yes, but it will be an incredibly shitty Swagger/Ziggler-like reign, and he will immediately be dumped back into the midcard right afterwards.

Most definitely
People have been high on other midcarders pushing the main event in the past who have failed (Kofi, Carlito, Mr Kennedy, MVP etc) but to be honest, they all had their flaws and just weren't good enough.
Kofi is too predictable and lacks personality, Carlito didn't seem interested, Kennedy sucked, MVP i just found to be boring in the ring. Cody though is the complete package.
Great moveset, good look, charismatic, great wrestler, cuts good promos. He is awesome.

As much as the guy just keeps improving in every facet, I can't imagine he won't reach the top.

JR said something about Rhodes on Twitter and said that if he doesn't win the belt in 2012 he should quit, said the same for Ziggler. They know he's ready, I also heard Vince was high on Rhodes since he started working with the Unmasked gimmick and made it great so it's in his hands now.

I believe he'll be one of the top 3-5 stars on the roster by the time he's 30 or 32, barring a major injury setback -- I'm talking the level Cena and Orton are now. He takes every opportunity and makes something of it.

Bill Polian will run them until the end of time, thus ruining your prediction

Why not? It's not like being a World Champ in WWE is hard to achieve.
