...MITB is coming home, according to NoDQ: "As of this week, the plan is to bring WWE's Money in the Bank match back to WrestleMania 28 in Miami. The match was not featured at this year's WrestleMania event." nodq.com/wwe/327092480.shtmlI hope this is true, it's a great high profile match for Mania, and gives some much needed unpredictability to the cash in, which we all have been clamoring for.

OH COME ON!
Next thing they'll announce is that Mania 28 will get more than 2 title matches, and just make me hate going to WM 27 even more.

Great great news If they are still keeping the PPV as well Id have them make the Mania version different somehow. Id have the Mania version to be a TLC match and the winner can challenge for one of the two main belts at Summerslam. Makes Summerslam more important, the winner still gets a choice, two different versions of the match means they can still keep the PPV....im getting a bit ahead of myself here but still great news.

As much as I like the MITB PPV itself, just the fact that there is only ONE briefcase plus the fact you are winning it at Wrestlemania just adds so much more prestige.

I agree, I mean, I was at MITB and everyone knows it was awesome (though obviously it's about 20 percent due to the two MITB matches) but it was just better at Mania. One match, guys going all out to shine on the WM stage, the winner can cash in at any time on either belt...that's the way it should be, IMO. Now what to do with the PPV? I don't know. Maybe keep it, and allow the winners of each MITB match to get a PREDETERMINED shot at their title by the end of the year. The more ladder matches the better but the Mania one should be the one to rule them all.

Wasn't there an actual news posting saying WWE wanted to trim some PPVs next year? This could be part of that.

I would think if Orton is really out 6 months and misses WM, that this is happening for sure.

Good. I hope that signals the end of the MITB PPV (as awesome as this year's was), because one briefcase holder per year that can target either world champion is far more meaningful than one for each brand. Plus it's almost always an entertaining spotfest.

Bringing MITB back to Wrestlemania still doesn't change the fact that the entire concept has become stale. It's all become nothing more than an excuse for lazy booking. Just a way to shove a midcarder into the main event scene without having to actually think of a way to build them up to that level first.

I think I did read something to the effect of MITB PPV being ousted. I hope this solidifies that claim.

I think I did read something to the effect of MITB PPV being ousted. I hope this solidifies that claim. But it was going to Vegas It would have made so much sense. Just one more year of PPV (with a Mania MITB) and then fully back to just Mania I say

Smh. 3 Mitb's matches in a year? Have they ever thought that cashing the case on a beaten down guy makes the championship worthless? if it's possibly 2-3 times a year now it's no wonder the belts bounce back and forth.
unless they get rid of mitb ppv.(which i hope is the case)

NOT a fan of doing both. Either it's a Wrestlemania-exclusive match or it's a PPV on it's own. It can't be both because I think it over-saturates and devalues the match.

As much as MITB helps Mania, and there should only be one MITB a year, I'm going to miss the PPV. It's one of the best PPVs they have.

That's cool, if they have to do a "get a bunch of midcarders on Mania" match then it's better than a two minute 6 or 8 man tag match.
