And get to keep a good amount of it because you're not on the road. Don't people at target get health benefits unlike most pro wrestlers? touché

He probably was joking, thats the way im reading it too, but its the story of the boy who cried wolf, SD is an egomaniac that keeps making ridiculous mark for himself statements in a serious tone so you cant blame people for taking him at face value when he writes ridiculous stuff as this.
As for his job, sure he has a good job, better than most guys that are still in the business and like him achieved moderate fame then their career plummet and they decided to keep doing Indies and such instead of finding a good dignified stable job like store manager or teacher, however he always keeps pretending he was and is still much more important than he ever was which would mean he would be financially set from the businesses.

And you're seriously downplaying how important he was.... The whole NWA/ECW title thing was ridiculously huge and was part of the frame work that got us the Attitude era.... Wrestling might not have gotten him set for life, but his place in history is cemented... And people can be huge deals and influence people significantly to where they make an ass load of money in their profession (music for example) while they themselves go through life broke and struggling...(which Douglas clearly isn't...just going by the notion he's not set for life)...

Just a joke, jeez! Wrestling fans seem like they can't wait to criticize wrestlers!

LOL @ retail managers making 90 f***ing grand a year. If he's some kind of suit that oversees an entire f***ing REGION of Target stores, maybe. If he's just one of the people telling the people that make minimum f***in wage what to do, he's not making 90 f***in grand a year. This post is pure ignorance. If he was overseeing an entire region of Target stores, he would be making mid 6 figures. And managing a store is a lot more than telling people what to do.

Wait, are we taking this status update seriously to bash Shane Douglas? This thread was depressing, Douglas makes a joke and 50% of people on here just insult the guy's wrestling career and current employment. Well done.
