obviously that's not happening, and we did the Hunico experiment already
but I'm saying there's gotta be a high flying indy darling / x division style grappler who can learn the E style enough and speak english so as to be able to really work with an opponent
someone the WWE wouldn't just hire as is, and push, because they wouldn't think they'd get over (yes, I know who CM Punk and Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins and so and and son are)
but... there are also guys like A.J. Styles who the WWE would still pass over
anyone out there that you guys can think of? already in developmental or that they could sign

Why does everyone keep saying WWE wouldn't hire AJ Styles? They tried to sign him years ago.

If this was two weeks ago, I would've said AJ Styles would've never made it out of the midcard. He has all the talent, but I just don't see him getting over with majority of the crowds like guys like Jeff Hardy. But Daniel Bryan is the WHC now. Anything is possible, so yeah I could see AJ making it far.

Austin Aries totally needs to come in as Jacob Cass. His manager is a 15 year old kid who decides how to dress him and what moves he has.
His manager's promos just consist of hilariously offensive racial/sexist/homophobic slurs against his opponents. His manager's name is something like xxxKILLuminati420xxx

They SHOULD re-hire Kaval as the new Sin Cara! Then when Sin Cara is healed and comes back and unmasks Kaval, he can be all super heel "Sin Cara got MY push! I'm a huge worlwide superstar and I don't botch NEARLY as much as him! But instead Tyler Reks took my spot on the Survivor Series team and then has the NERVE to create an internet show, MY internet!, that complains about spots being taken!" or something like that. And maybe he can make nice his way into "Team Internet" alongside Punk, Bryan and Ryder. He can go after the IC title!

Isn't he in his mid 30s now? I always assume that WWE like their high flyers to be young.

I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been much interest in Generico by the E(to my knowledge anyways). He'd get over great with kids and be good for the more PG approach the E takes.

WWE already has Evan Bourne, why would they want an older, Southern-accented, stupidly-tattooed Evan Bourne?

Why does everyone keep saying WWE wouldn't hire AJ Styles? They tried to sign him years ago. I think it's the other way around, really. WWE wants to sign AJ Styles, but Styles has no interest in ever leaving TNA. They've gone after him in the past and he's turned them down each and every time.

If WWE signed AJ and then instead of getting AJ or even AJ under another name, the internet would explode. Also jury is still out on Bryan being WHC. I will wait and see how it goes before I believe WWE is truly going there (the CM Punk change). Not saying I doubt it will happen just saying I usually wait a. bit to judge a wrestling angle, gimick ect.

WWE already has Evan Bourne, why would they want an older, Southern-accented, stupidly-tattooed Evan Bourne? I've been saying this for ages, WWE should pair Bourne up with Rey, get Rey to give Bourne a mask to wear (and a new luch-esque name) and voila, we have a new super talented version of Rey who is both an awesome wrestler and sells a ton of merch. Let face it, Bourne's never going to draw as a main event star as he is now and Sin Cara has been pretty much a bust. Bourne gets to be a huge star, kids get to buy his mask and we get to watch Bourne do his stuff in the main event.
