I got this for Christmas. Haven't played it yet, but I will soon. What was your opinion about this game? I was also hoping for WWE '12, but I'll get that some other time.
I am well aware that this game is more of an arcade style game with over-the-top models of the wrestlers and over-the-top animations of the moves.
What I am wondering is what you thought of the game.

It was okay. Nothing I'd put too much effort in TBH, but nothing offending.

It's a very fun and fast paced game and features some of the best video packages WWE has done in a long time (for Fantasy Warfare) but I will say that it's a bit short on the single player side.

Don't dismiss the game right from the onset, it takes a while to actually get used to the controls and be able to pull off what you may have seen in videos or whatever. I personally think it's a lot of fun, with one of the best concepts for a wrestling video game in a while.
Also hey, Macho Man. Can't go wrong with him.

All Stars has CM Punk's VINTAGE yellow trunks unlike WWE 12 which for some reason chose orange....WHY???
Its a fun game and I actually prefer it to most Smackdown vs Raw games. And Fantasy warfare's are really awesome, just with the video packages.

It's a fantastic basic multiplayer wrestling game. Play it offline with 3 other wrestling geeks and you'll be buzzing with glee.
It's my third favourite wrestling game of the last decade behind Day of Reckoning 2 and WWE 12, and I'm pretty damned critical of 'rasslin' games.

All Stars has CM Punk's VINTAGE yellow trunks unlike WWE 12 which for some reason chose orange....WHY??? In fairness, SVR 11 had his yellow trunks. WWE 12 shouldve had his MITB attire, and BITW shirt for the intro. I didnt buy All Stars, but I played it and found it a harmless and enjoyable game. Not something id choose though.

It plays more like a "fighting" game than most wrestling games. IE : Don't go into it expecting Revenge/No Mercy, because that's not what you're going to get.
Some high-level tournament Fighting Game players started dicking around with All-Stars a while back and actually found set-ups, juggle combos, etc.
The DLC Characters mostly use "hybrid" styles as opposed to the singular styles that the on-disc characters use, so they might have a competitive advantage, I don't know.
If you have people to play the game against at a competitive level, you should enjoy it. If you're looking for a "wrestling sim" that you can go on and on with and drop your favorite indie guys into and make them beat the hell out of John Cena, then you'll want to move onto something else.

It's okay. Main flaws with it are the fact that the game has no sense of scale for when someone should be finished off (a finisher that drops them to empty health is a definite kick-out but punching them directly afterward gets three?!), there is barely anything to do in it single-player other than work for ages and ages unlocking all of the alternate costumes, and the CAW mode is sub-Warzone levels of quality.

Never played it, but I've seen a ton of videos about it (finishers) and it seems like it can be pretty entertaining for a while. Maybe worth a rent to play with wrestling fan friends for a while but it doesn't seem like a buy for me. Just my opinion from watching videos though.

Pretty good. Rented it through Redbox, had a good week-long fun If your not nitpicky about the 'action figure/larger than life' look of the wrestlers (Seriously, the criticisms about the look were so annoying), it's a fun little game

I enjoyed it for the time I had it. Might have to pick it up for 3DS when I get one.
