Maybe they'll say that Mark Henry treated Daniel Bryan without any respect by trying to murder him so Bryan wasn't going to show him any respect either and that's why he cashed in on him now. See, that makes sense. Bryan has already had the briefcase longer than anyone except Edge's first run with it, and has seen more opportunities to cash it in presented for him than anyone. You can only keep seeing this happen for so long before going "You know what, this guy's beat the f*** out of me for the last month, now he's knocked out with a broken leg, I can't lose, I'm doing it!" He's only human. |

He wasn't medically cleared to wrestle, but....the MITB briefcase is supposed to be for anytime, anywhere.

I think this was solely to eff with people that read spoilers and for fans of Bryan.

Daniel Bryan ran out and cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and pinned Henry. The place went nuts. However, Teddy Long came out and said that Mark Henry could not compete, so the title change does not stand. Long gave Bryan his briefcase back and told him that he's in the main event with Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, and Randy Orton in a four-way match to determine the No. 1 contender for the live Smackdown next week. He said the winner of that match would face Big Show, but he didn't say when (presumably TLC).  |

I may be in the minority, but I kind of like this and I hope it leads to something with Long and Henry. It'd be a nice callback to when Teddy Long used to manage him, which if you remember, kinda led to T-Lo becoming GM of Smackdown.

I don't think it's that bad since Henry was making Bryan's life hell for the past month. He was angry wanted revenge, and why not get it by beating him while he's injured and taking his title away from him? Yeah, it's a dick move, but Daniel Bryan is a WWE face so it's expected. Kinda wish i didn't read spoilers because that would've been funny/amazing/horrifying to watch  |

2. Beth Phoenix and Natalya beat A.J. and Kaitlyn. Alicia Fox was out for commentary. There were more We Want Ryder chants. Natalya won in a minute with Sharpshooter and Beth didn't even tag in. Natalya kept AJ in a Sharpshooter but bridged down. Alicia Fox entered the ring, and Beth and Natalya just left without incident.

Since when is a guy not being able to compete grounds for a match not to happen? Isn't that pretty much the whole point of the briefcase to cash in when the champ is hurt the most.
Cole's reaction should be legendary though.

Backstage, Zack Ryder and Sheamus went over their match. Ryder did the "Woo Woo Woo" and Sheamus said the "you know it" line.

Also, Beth/Natalya vs AJ/Kaitlyn is starting to give Kelly/Eve vs The Bellas a run for its money in how overdone it is.

Because while MITB is "any time, any place", its technically to have a MATCH at any time and any place, isnt it? And if Henry isnt medically cleared to have a match, then that MITB cash-in match can't happen. |
