The top rope angle slam. That should be a pin fall but too many times HBK has kicked out of it. It should be reserved for special moments where the ankle lock wouldn't work. My 2 cents.

Angle slam has become a transitional move or set up move for the Angle lock
Stupid but that's what has happened. Angle has made that move look weak

Yeah, it's never really looked like a finisher. If Benoit can do the tri-german suplex and Eddie did the 3 Amigos and it wasn't a finisher, why should one Angle slam (basically the same thing, just getting dropped perpendicular) put someone out?

Then why is any move considered a finisher? I mean, you drop a guy on his head, back, or stomach with every move right?

The Angle slam never looked impressive. Of course it could hurt you if you got slammed like that in real life on the pavement or something but I never saw him Angle slam someone and said "Wow he is dead now".

The only things that look impressive are near unescapable submisssions, like the Ankle Lock with grapvewine or a TazzMission with grapevine.

I'm surprised that anyone would argue about the four HBK/Angle matches to begin with.

If they built the angle slam up more it could be looked as a lot more destructive. Look at his promo with the rock on Heat. The way rock takes it makes it look devastating for some reason

Yes, but in TNA, the moves he's put over as his finishers are Muscle Buster, sometimes leading to the Kukini Clutch.
