As truly mind boggling as it is to give America 9 games and Europe 129, I'm rather astonished that of all the power that the Vita has (I mean, the graphics on the Vita are seriously amazing), Sony is still pushing out PS1 games. Hurray I know, but are they hoping that's going to be a selling point? if it weren't so blamed expensive I'd consider it the main selling point.

Price isn't so bad when most retailers are doing bundles. I have regularly seen a bundle at Target with 2 games (usually a new release and good game) plus a gift card for $50. If the games are $40 each that makes it so the system is virtually $120.

kotaku.com/5939245/gold-vs-plus-how-sony-is-making-a-mockery-of-xbox-liveA positive PS3 article for a change shows how much PS+ is kicking XBLA's ass up and down the court. Still need to get my PS+ membership, I've just been under bad luck as of late. Probably will try to go on Tuesday. I was going to activate it at the beginning of the month anyways, so I can at least take some advantage of whatever December's addition to the Instant Game Collection is.

So, the Borderlands DLC bundle it is for me. Can't beat getting all 4 for just $10.

So uh.....Dawnguard may not be coming to the PS3 at all, period. Bethesda seems to having trouble getting to work with as little issues as possible on the PS3 version.
This may affect future Skyrim DLC on the PS3 as well.
So.....yep, that's the last Bethesda made game I'll be getting on PS3 ever. I'll still get Bethesda published games, though, like Dishonored and id's games. But if it is from Todd Howard's team, it can f*** right off.

www.ign.com/articles/2012/08/31/report-killzone-trilogy-incoming-for-playstation-3Amazon France, who seem to be the king in accidentally leaking stuff out (including Black Ops II and the Ratchet and Clank Trilogy/Collection) now have a listing out for a "Killzone Trilogy". Which pretty much means that Killzone will be part of the next line in the "Collection" series, with the first one finally receiving an HD upgrade.

Yeah, tell that to a SCEE customer with the constant delays and the latest kick in the teeth, all those shiny PS1 games for Vita we got not actually being Vita compatible. That's why I don't have a Plus account. On balance it's just not worth it for the European gamer.

Which is weird since the European gamers also have Dead Space 2 AND Red Dead Redemption as part of their free game collection, 2 games that us Americans would KILL for (even though I own RDR, I would love to play DS2 one more time on my own console before 3 comes out in Feb.).

Well I already own both those games.
But you want a comparison? On the first anniversary of Plus, US Plus members got a bunch of discounts and offers to celebrate. European Plus members got a theme of the PSN team eating cake.

So there are four new characters in PSASBR that are playable in the PAX demo build, and they are.....
- Nariko from Heavenly Sword - Sir Daniel Fortesque from MediEvil - "Evil" Cole from inFAMOUS - Raiden from Metal Gear Solid
So......uh......did we REALLY need two character slots to be taken up by Cole? Why not just make Cole a dual-personality character like Zelda in Smash Bros. is, but instead having Cole switch between his good and evil sides?
Edit: Also, I find it kind of insulting that the Dante in this game is the Dante from the DmC reboot, and not the classic design we all know. Especially since the reboot Dante's game hasn't even freaking come out yet! Kind of hard to call that Dante a "PlayStation All-Star". Now the classic Dante design? Oh, for sure a PlayStation All-Star.
