Me to, when it was first introduced I honestly didn't think there was a chance I'd sign up, but for £30 a year the free games would probably pay that back straight away.

Nice, I've always wanted to get into Killzone, but seen something else whenever I've seen it.

So I finally boot up Borderlands for the first time and right now I'm just watching the main menu screen, enthralled by the antics of the Claptrap. Also, I noticed that this is one of the few shooters on the PS3 to use the L2 and R2 for the shooting mechanics. Almost all other shooters use the L1 and R1. This is going to take some getting use to, as, you know, muscle memory and all that stuff.

I hate that they aren't standard or at least every game should give you the option to change.

I believe Sleeping Dogs also uses L2 and R2 for shooting.

Yeah, I played around with the options and settled on the "Resistant" set of controls which does put the shooting mechanics to L1 and R1.

It's surprisingly comfortable if you get those shoulder button grips that Gamestop sells.

So I did it, I upgraded to Plus. And I'm not regreting it. Despite the massive ammount of time it's taken to download Just Cause 2 and Borderlands.

Gah after looking for the game for so long I'm just now discovering that Tomba! has been on PSN since June! Didn't get far on it as a kid but I'm enjoying the hell out of playing it again.

A tip for now that you've got plus: go to system settings and turn on autoupdate, basically during a set 2 hour block overnight it'll download any of your background downloads and install them for you if they finish downloading in the timeslot. Best thing for it though is downloading updates to games, like if you put a game in and it's got a 2GB update just cancel out the update and it'll automatically get it for you that night. 'tis a real nice thing.

Love the hell out of that, although I set it to 2-4PM because I usually play around 2-4AM every night. 2-4PM is usually the most notable time I don't play, because I usually get up and do all the things I need to do around that time.

Signed up for the year while there's 25% off membership and I've set Infamous 2 away downloading.

Anyone ever play Team Fortress 2? I'm semi-addicted to it at the moment.

Dear sweet Jesus is Borderlands fun. Playing it just yesterday I got my Lilith to level 19 and already have a small arsenal of elemental weapons(Lilith's specialty). Got a corrosive revolver, an incendiary revolver(with scope!), an incendiary sniper rifle, an electric combat rifle, an electric shotgun, an electric rocket launcher, an explosive rounds shotgun, and an explosive rounds SMG. Right now I only have 3 weapon slots, so I can only carry three of my guns, but my current plan is once I get the fourth slot unlocked, I'll carry one weapon of each element and of each range type, IE a sniper rifle, a rapid fire gun(SMG/combat rifle), a shotgun, and a pistol. So once I get that fourth slot, my current plan is the incendiary sniper rifle, the corrosive revolver, and then I can't decide between using the electric shotgun and explosive SMG or the explosive shotgun and the electric combat rifle. And I'm loving the hell out of Phasewalk, granted most of the time I use it to run like a little bitch when I'm finished with a mission and I'm depleted on both healing items and money. But yeah, I'm for damn sure getting Borderlands 2 now. Might even pre-order it so I can get the Mechromancer for free, as well as that golden gun pack GameStop is offering. The only problem I have with the game is, well it is most certainly an Unreal Engine 3 game. I say that because of the insane amount of texture loading that happens in this game.

Did Poland really break the release date of RE6 only for the copies to get stolen? That's kinda awesome.
