Yeah, I went out for Sleeping Dogs but I ended up getting Mod Nation Racers, Bayonetta and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands as well since Game had a 3 for 2 deal on preowned games.

If anybody in the US is thinking about trading stuff in, Best Buy is running a double trade-in value deal this week. So say one game is $10 credit, you'll get $20 for the game instead. I should be pissed that this happened the week AFTER I went there to trade in some games, but with the new trade-in prices being released, I would've gotten the same amount that I got last weekend. Maybe a couple bucks extra credit. Oh well... EDIT: IGN released a new list of the Top 25 PS3 Games You Must Play {Spoiler}25: Spec Ops: The Line 24: Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time 23: Dead Space 2 22: Valkyria Chronicles 21: inFamous 20: Saints Row: The Third 19: Vanquish 18: Catherine 17: Bioshock 16: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune 15: God of War III 14: Grand Theft Auto IV 13: LittleBigPlanet 2 12: Arkham Asylum 11: Mass Effect 3 10: Red Dead Redemption 9: Resistance 3 8: Arkham City 7: inFamous 2 6: Heavy Rain 5: Portal 2 4: Fallout 3 3: Mass Effect 2 2: Uncharted 2 1: Uncharted 3

Of those, I do not own Catherine and Spec Ops. And I shall have those.

It seems like it is "Make a Vita game, get shut down". Zipper or Liverpool should have been making the Vita CoD game, better chocie than Nihilistic.

Their next game is a Vita game. Bend has been ok so far. I think MM is ok because they are new to the stable and they are working on a secret game as well that many think is PS4. Their Vita game team is only 15 people as well. So I doubt it costs too much.

Being that Madden 13 is about to drop on Tuesday (Saturday if you have EA Season Pass), I was wondering if anyone wanted to do an online Connected Careers league franchise thingamabob?

Man, Gamestop are some f***ing hustlers. I went in there with the intention of getting ONE specific game. I wound up leaving with 2 extra ones I never intended to buy and a premium PowerUp Rewards membership, with newsletter and digital copies of Game Informer. I had no idea what the f*** happened. All I know is that I left the store with a bag full of s*** and a $120 hole in my wallet.
The guy in line in front of me got it up the pooper much worse, though. They talked him into preordering 4 different games, a PowerUp membership, and 2 $20 PSN cards in addition to what he was already getting. The kicker in all of that was that he traded in Max Payne 3 & Uncharted 3, netting him store credit in the amount of $22. I almost felt like holding a candlelight vigil for his bank account.
Meek individuals should not shop at GameStop.

My Gamestop rarely tries upselling me, unless it is a new guy. Sadly they know me entirely too well now. I used to avoid that store like the plague, but they have had so many games where you get an upgrade to a CE or LE for free and decent exclusive content. And since Kmart stopped their gamer program no one is trying very hard to have good deals on new releases.
Also, platinum 18 is Sleeping Dogs.

Meek individuals should not shop at GameStop. They worked their magic on me too. That's why I walked into GS to trade in Lollipop Chainsaw and walked out with Fifa 09, Bulletstorm, and Enslaved. I was originally going to just get Fifa 09 and Bulletstorm, but then they mentioned that the PowerUp members(of which I already was one) get an extra 10% off if they buy 3 pre-owned games, so it was back to the pre-owned rack for me upon which I snatched Enslaved.
