So....it appears Capcom finished making RE6 even faster than they anticipated. Originally it was supposed to come out the same week as AC3, but got bumped up with the first week of October because they were ahead of schedule. Well now it appears the game has already gone gold(ie, is printed onto discs and ready for sale), because there are already full, officially packaged, copies of the PS3 version out in the wild in Europe.
So basically Capcom is just sitting on the game for a full month now. If I was them, I would've honestly moved its release up to the week the new RE film comes out. Think about it, from a PR standpoint it is brilliant, a week of new RE releases. A new RE game on Tuesday, a new RE film on Friday. Gives those who buy the game on Tuesday at least 3 days to play it and get into the mood for the film by the weekend.
And they wouldn't run into any stiff competition as they avoid Borderlands 2 by a week. Honestly releasing the game between Borderlands 2 and Dishonored, like they currently are doing, might be a bad move, as I'm sure everyone will still be playing Borderlands 2 by the time RE6 drops.

Whoo! Took me a whole damn year, but the patience finally paid off for me, as I finally visited Calendar Man on all 12 dates to get the trophy.

I didn't realise how close we were to the release of RE 6, absolutely can not wait for it. I'll be getting Fifa 13 and I'm going on holiday next month so it looks like I better save up some pennies.

Just a quick question. Is Playstation Plus worth it? kotaku.com/5939245/gold-vs-plus-how-sony-is-making-a-mockery-of-xbox-liveJust read that. Short answer: Yes. Long answer: It depends on if you pay regularly on PSN. But even if you don't, you want to get it now while it's still hot. The selection of free games you get with the service right now can't be topped. -The Walking Dead Game: Episodes 1 & 2 (and possibly the rest of the season in the near future) -Bloodrayne Betrayal -Outland -Infamous 2 -Little Big Planet 2 -Ratchet & Clank All 4 One -Warhammer 40K: Space Marine -Saints Row 2 -Renegade Ops -Pac-Man Championship Edition DX EDIT: And since you're from the UK, you also have Dead Space 2 and Red Dead Redemption. And tomorrow, Borderlands gets added to the list of free games. So I'd at least try a 3-month, like I just did. It's less than paying for a $20 PSN card. If you don't like it, there you go.

I've had Plus since I think February or March of last year. Whichever month they had Stacking as the free game. I got a three month subscription just for that game and stuck around and got a year long subscription.

If I cancel after the 3 months has expired do I lose it?

Plus is one of those things where it's one of the best deals in gaming, however... you only get from it what you put in. If you let your subscription lapse, you only get access to the games from that month you resubscribe... but, if you don't let it lapse, you get the games indefinitely.
Some months WILL suck, that's a given.... either because there's a serious lack of content, or maybe they update with stuff you either don't care about or already have. But, given time, the awesome will return and you'll be glad you have it.
and this is coming from a guy who was a serious Plus detractor for quite a while... even after trying it. The Instant Game Collection thing has won me over though.

I just ignore most of the discounts as I, very seldom, download games or add-ons unless they're packaged with the game.

I've saved a lot of money with Plus. Pretty sure the money I've saved with my discounts have paid off my subscription costs as well. And honestly, at this rate, I think I might let my subscription lapse just because there is NO WAY IN HELL that I'll be able to play all the games I have got for free thanks to Plus.

You know all this Plus talk is starting to sway me. That years subscription for £30 is looking really tempting.
