And now I'm starting Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Still at the beginning of the game right now. I'm liking it so far, just still getting use to the um....unique control set up for the game....

I still have to play through that Deus Ex game. Although, I ransacked a police station, killed pretty much everyone there... then tried to exit the front door. Bad idea, instantly killed by a shit-ton of pissed off cops and military.
Then, I escaped.. went to do some more missions, one brought me back to the station. Finished my task, walked out the front door. Still military, still pissed off, me.... still dead.

Explore everything, seriously, you find so much good stuff for it, and XP. Also, try to go for non-lethal as much as possible, as it gives more XP than just killing (not the best design admittedly).

So, unexpectedly, got a great surprise tonight. Apparently one of my parents's friends gave my parents a first model fat PS2, unsure on if it worked or what. He knew that me and my brother have wanted another one since our fat PS3 bit the dust last year.
Hook it up, turn it on, put a random game in...the damn thing still works. I need a memory card, but I can find those for dirt cheap.
I'm ecstatic right now. ;D

Metal Gear Solid 4 to receive trophy support I am glad to have a reason to go back to it, pissed because now I have to deal with the loading all over again.

The loading times, the long as HELL cutscenes, and act 3 in general make MGS4 a masochistic experience for me. Not sure I want to go back for trophies.

Yeah, Act 3 can be a f***ing chore. Between the beginning of the act and probably the longest cutscene in the game, I can see why it can be a pain.

It's funny you mention that cutscene because I remember the first time watching that and having SUCH a hard time following it all. I played 4 before 3 (big mistake) and all that information coming at me with no basis of context was really hard lol.

I just found out what happened via GameTrailers's retrospective on it. So yeah...have no clue what's going on followed by me going "Will you hurry the f*** up!" No wonder they made you go back to Shadow Moses in Act 4. It was them trying to redeem the player.

So this will probably be my 5th run by the time they come out with 'em. Eh, I don't care. I'm about halfway through my 4th & still enjoying it, so I can't complain.
