I just bought Dyad today for two reasons: 1) It looks INSANELY trippy. 2) The game is getting good reviews. I have honestly not seen a bad review for it yet. Oh and I went and got Arkham Asylum GotY edition today because it was discounted at GameStop. But man, these good looking PSN exclusives like Dyad, Sound Shapes, and Papo & Yo are going to make me broke. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) Though to be honest, kind of amazed they didn't delay Dyad and make it part of the PSN Play thing instead of The Expendables 2 that way all 4 of the games are in some way a PSN exclusive. Dyad, Sound Shapes, and Papo & Yo being flat out exclusives with Counter-Strike have exclusive cross-play multiplayer between the PS3 and PC versions.

so, I almost bought FIFA 12 before I realized how soon it was until 13 comes out(even though 13 won't have the Euro 12 DLC).
So, is anyone gonna buy 13 for PS3. I'm not a huge footie fan(I try and follow Seattle's MLS team when possible, but living 300+ miles away with no TV or vehicle makes it more difficult), but from what little online multiplayer I've played on XBL, it's can be a really fun multiplayer game(especially if most/all of us have chat capabilities).
I'll totally buy it launch day if others will guarantee to get it at least somewhat soon after. I know it'll never be as dire a situation, but I don't want it to become another Catan* or Apples to Apples**
*which, unfortunately is no longer a game availble on PSN. I never dl'd it to my new PS3, so unless I can salvage it from my old PS3's harddrive, it's a game I paid for which I'll never be able to play again.
**Seriously, if you have the cash to buy this game, I'm virtually down to play anytime.

f*** YEAH, MORE SLICING! -_- I'm not sure how to feel about this game. It's pretty clear that sneaking and all that is taking a back seat to blatant slicing and action, but the whole "Blade mode" concept looks cool. I may give it a try.

I will say this about Dyad, it is not trophy hunter friendly. Which is funny considering it is one of the few PSN games that has a Platinum trophy.
But here is how hard it is to get the trophies in this game, to get the trophies, you have to pass the trophy mode version of each level, but to even get the trophy mode versions you first have to complete the level and get a 3 star rating on it. Oh, and the trophy mode versions play completely different to the original versions of the levels, and some of them are very freaking hard.

Koda, apparently people have found ways to make it crazy easy to get most trophies in the game, they don't cheat, but they do exploit the holy hell out of it.

I avoided the bulk of the discussion as I haven't gotten the game yet. I heard it on Podcast Beyond I believe, then there was talks on a message board as well.

Quick question. I'm trying to burn a CD to my PS3, but it's not working. (i.e I don't see it in the music section of the menu) Any tips?
EDIT: My PSN Handle is Zacthebeast14.

THQ just can't get away from the uDraw. www.ign.com/articles/2012/07/18/thq-sued-over-udraw-tabletsI think we all know why the uDraw sold so well on the Wii but very poorly on the other consoles; Wii owners were DYING for third-party technology, while PS3 and 360 owners looked at it as either a waste of money or just "kiddie stuff". I'm posting it here because the uDraw's woes stemmed from them wanting to sell it on the PS3 (and also 360). Also, they closed their Arizona studio.

Ah, Cheap Ass Gamer. Good site.
Anyways, it's looking more and more possible that I may be getting my first platinum here shortly if I keep going the way I'm going in Lego Batman 2. I think I'm halfway through in terms of trophies, but around 70% done in the game. It's more about the minikits than anything else. Gold bricks are easy to find, but doing the minikits is a pain in the ass, especially when you need f***ing Aquaman. So I got him and said "screw it, I'll get the rest". So I got the rest of the characters, with the exception of one, but you need every gold brick for that. So what I need to do is...
-Get the 10.1 billion studs trophy -Minikits -Rest of the gold bricks (got about 50 to go) -Save a few more citizens, but those are mostly in level. -Play through the "secret level". -Find and buy Supergirl.
A platinum is looking closer and I can smell it.
