My Armageddon 2007 has a clear case, as if one disc got shipped 'special'. My Night of Champions 2009 came in a clear case with no cover ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png)

Or stuff like that happens.

I would go back and check the product description on the DVD from that particular marketplace seller. If there is no mention of it not being in the original case and missing its cover, I'd say you should talk to Amazon about it.

I brought Survivor Series 2006 through the same seller and it arrived with its orginal black case, inserts and cover.

Of course the fact it was supposed to come out in June of last year makes you wonder how much work they did on it to begin with.

If your in the U.K. I believe it's very easy to obtain that DVD, however, here in the U.S. it's probably the most rarest and expensive WWE DVD you can find and if you can find on the Internet. It goes for crazy money.

While we're on the subject, weren't there plans for the Lawler disc as well circa 2008, which is why so many collections (namely Hennig's) came out without the famed Lawler matches on the actual discs?

While we're on the subject, weren't there plans for the Lawler disc as well circa 2008, which is why so many collections (namely Hennig's) came out without the famed Lawler matches on the actual discs? I think it might have been suggested. Then again there were rumors last year of a Gorgeous George DVD coming out. I mean c'mon. The guy is a legend, and a pioneer and everything. But seriously, a best of Hornswoggle DVD would outsell it 10 to 1, and the sales on a Hornswoggle DVD would suck. Not to pick on old George, but I simply don't see the demand. It seems like the most retro most WWE DVD buyers are willing to go is back to the 80's. You know what the worst selling (at retail price mind you) WWE DVD is? Its the Superstar Billy Graham DVD. Thats right, a DVD of Titantrons outsold the Superstar. My point is that there are a lot of legends who deserve to have DVD's. Gorgeous George deserves to have a DVD, and so do many many other guys. Its just that at retail, they would be dust magnets. So then WWE isn't making any money, and at the same time pissing off retailers for taking up valuable shelf space with their "Manager of Champions, Champion of Cribbage: Arnold Skaaland DVD. This brings me back to the Jerry Lawler thing. The Memphis footage mystery makes it almost impossible to make a proper Jerry Lawler DVD. And honestly Lawler is one of those guys who hovers right around the dividing line of taking the risk of giving him a set can be successful. You may think thats complete nonsense, but hear me out. Bobby Heenan. Greatest manager ever in the business. Very talented, very funny, had tons of fans despite being a heel. Every longtime fan knows who he is. WWE took the risk on a Heenan DVD... And it just didn't sell well at all. And this is Bobby f**** Heenan! WWE I'm sure noticed this, probably working on a solution. I have the perfect solution for them, buy I'm dead tired and going to bed... Damned it all.

Ali being on the DVD would sell it, but other than that, I agree that there wouldn't be a big market for it.

Watched Best of Raw: Vol. 1 & 2 DVD on Friday in prep for the 1000th episode. What pisses me off is at the ending of Vol. 2 Coach tells us to look out for Vol. 3 that will look at the year 2000 Raw... Vol. 3 never came out on DVD. ![](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51ZCFHVAM0L._SL500_AA300_.jpg) I remember always wondering if it ever came out, then I found out that it did but just on VHS. This makes absoluetely no sense and I hate how even today with Blu-ray and DVD, WWE is still reluctant to put out materal on Blu-ray. I guess WWE is too butt hurt to put out continuous Blu-Ray releases because of sales, but I'm sure I'm in a pretty good percentile that just wants the better quality vs. buying the regular DVD. It really pisses me off how certain PPVs like Money in the Bank last year never existed on Blu-Ray, such a great event that has to be enjoyed fully on the slighty blurry, downgraded, 16x9 DVD. It also happened back then when WWE never released the '99 and '00 and No Way Out 2001 PPVs on DVD. It sucks that we have to put up with this. It's another thing that were getting almost barebone DVD releases with barely any extras. WWE just needs to make the switch already, it's 2012.

The MITB 2011 thing is really frustrating because it was scheduled for a Blu Ray release. As for the Best of Raw. Volumes 1 & 2 were released on DVD late in 2001 after much earlier VHS releases. The name change to WWE probably put the kibosh on Vol. 3 getting a release. There's a chance Silvervision could release it in a Tagged Classic, perhaps with Best of the WWF 2001. That only makes a difference if you don't mind importing.

I was looking forward to it because I love forgotten mid-card stuff, but I can't see there being much demand for it. As for Lawler, is there any chance that the WWE might be trying to sort out the rights issues with the Memphis library before releasing a DVD of him? Probably not.

Yeah, I remember actually pre-ordering the MITB Blu-ray on Best Buy because it was the only place that listed it, but soon after they canceled the order. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Yeah I was thinking about Silvervision probably releasing it as Tagged Classics. I don't mind importing, it just sucks because I don't have a region free DVD player and I play the Tagged Classics I have through my computer.
