My personal favorites (not just in wrestling) are when the good guy/s and the bad guy/s have to team up and work together to get rid of a bigger threat. Perhaps one of the reasons why the Nexus angle I enjoyed so much at first, or most of the Smackdown vs. RAW feuds.
Like in 05' on the Smackdown where RAW went all out on the Smackdown, I always thought it was cool to see guys like JBL & Orton trying to save Batista from getting chokeslammed by Show & Kane through a table.
What about other examples?

I enjoyed the earlier Brand Warfare storylines so much. These types of storylines are not about Good vs Evil, which lends its hand to the fans to decide which is better. I remember the debates in school over which brand was better. I was always a Smackdown person so i always stuck up for the eternal Smackdown guys. Mysterio, Taker, JBL, Angle, Benoit. It was so much fun watching interpromotional ppv's because there would always be some sort of interaction between both shows. They were also completely separate through the year. Each brand would act as if they don't pay attention to each other. They each had differing things from each other aswell. Smackdown had the "Model Divas", Cruiserweight Division, competitive main event scene. While Raw had the "Wrestling Womens" division, Competitive Intercontinental Title division, and a more Drama driven Main Event scene.

Call me old fashioned and out of touch, but I like the story of a wrestler honing his craft and working to climb the ladder and defeat superstars who were once held in greater regard than him. Enough big victories culminates in title opportunities. Recent examples include Austin Aries, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk.

I like when two super baby faces or a super baby face and a super heel team up to take on some big threat to both of them, eventually become friends, take on a bunch of united challengers, slowly lose trust and violently break up.
Basically I love the Mega Powers exploding storyline and I wish they would do it more.

Monster Heels. Just monster heels.
From Roberts DDT'ing steamboat on the floor to Raven brainwashing Sandman's kid to Mark Henry's hall of pain. I love brutal badguys.
Oh and one that isn't used enough in America is "Old Guy hates younger wrestler so he tries to teach him respect.
Akiyama is great at this.

The Bret Hart/Stone Cold that lasted for eons is probably my favorite. Basically, young guy becomes obsessed with beating established guy, and keeps finding ways to get into his head to challenge him over and over, knowing that he can't beat him like he could have in the past.

Silly over the top Kane dragging people to hell is my favorite kind of storyline.

Old school heel turns from facey-faces.
I don't know, I just like it.
I like it when warm-hearted rookies get disillusioned by the reality of "the business," when tag partners gradually get sick of each other and all that.

Those big, compelling, epic storylines that overshadow the entire company. I love reading and watching about the original NWO storyline (up until Starrcade '97, anyway). The group just kept getting bigger, more unstoppable, Hogan's heel turn was unprecedented and he played an awesome villain, Sting (in a brand new gimmick) being the hero that would save the company, etc. Just great stuff and the kind of thing that would really get me watching.

I like any storyline that leads to a heel actually beating a top face clean. Those seem to be the rarest of all these days.

Mysteries. Mystery attackers, "who is it promo's" like Y2J's "Save Us".. anything that gets this board buzzing over what it could mean, who it is, who did it.. the payoff usually sucks, but the build up is always great fun.

Stories that feel different from the one we just saw. I remember maybe a year and a half ago, when three or four consecutive #1 contenders for BOTH world titles were decided by having four or five people come to the ring, shout at each other, and then have a match made where they'd decide who would challenge for the belt. Same handfuls of people. There comes a point where it's just laziness.
Aside from that, anything with an idea behind it. I'm liking the Punk/Bryan feud because AJ's involvement changes things up. While it's still about the title and not her affections, she's a wildcard that introduces a new dynamic to the equation. It's not just "I'll punch you!" "Well I'll punch you harder!" back and forth at each until the PPV. I get that it's a wrestling show and punching people is sort of the point, but a narrative makes it to much more enjoyable.

I'm in the minority when saying this but I think most of the heels in wrestling are way too corny. Having said that...I like storylines where characters like SCSA 99.9% of the time made the heels look like idiots at the end of the day ultimately being victorious.
Strange considering I like the bad guys more than good guys in everything else but wrestling. I think it's the proper way to end a feud with the good guy eventually giving the bad guy his comeuppance in wrestling storylines. To me it just doesn't make for good storytelling to have a bad guy do all kinds of vile stuff and come out on top.
At least in wrestling anyways...any other form of entertainment I'm rooting for the villains.

The ones that aren't either or both overly complicated or overly dramatic.
So around 2% of the ones you see in WWE.

face/face title feuds. It's a simple formula but effective. "You have the belt, I want it"
