Great Teacher Onizuka: Onizuka uses a German suplex on the principal of the school he gets a job teaching at and the headmistress makes a reference to Karl Gotch.
Life With Mikey: Michael J. Fox's character takes all the kids that work for his acting agency to a wrestling match featuring Jeff Jarrett jobbing to a masked Jerry "The King" Lawler for one of the kids' birthday.

I always dug the shot of Bret Hart putting Chris Benoit in a sharpshooter in the Malcolm in the Middle opening. Were any of the characters even wrestling fans?

There's a song making the rounds now that uses heavy wrestling references. Uses the lyrics "No Stone Cold Steve or men in tights."

This animated .gif was from the first episode of the second season of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century"... HAWKENSTEINER!!! Also, I remember a reference from an old tabletop RPG called "CyberPunk 2020". They released a city book (a book that had a detailed city with maps, characters, etc. to run a campaign in), and there was a building in it called the Piper Memorial Arena. It was dedicated to a "well-known professional wrestler who sacrificed his life stopping a team of terrorists from crashing a passenger jet into the White House".

The 90s boyband 5ive in their song "Everybody get up" one of the members raps that "I'll be the resident president, I'm the 5th element Jimmy fly snuka stone cold is how I'm hittin' em'". I wasn't expecting a wrestling reference off them, lol. Oh and speaking of music, I can't remember what band it was, I'm pretty sure it was a 90s heavy metal band, the lead singer was wearing an ECW shirt in one of their music videos.

During the Summer of Punk (sigh...), darts player Paul Nicholson did a CM Punk entrance.
Also, another Punk reference, the GTS taunt after a brutal hockey fight:

Lupe Fiasco mentioned Jerry Lawler in his song "Shining Down"
After a hockey fight was over, you can hear Austin's song

I hate that I know this, but some crappy UK "rapper" did a song recently and sang about doing "The Quagmire" (Yes, as in Family Guy) and then started crotch chopping wildly. So if you see someone doing that in a club, you know who to blame!

The Nickelodeon show "My Brother and Me" had a lot of wrestling references, including one episode that opens with Dee Dee and his friends watching a WCW show circa 1993. Speaking of which wrestling has turned up on TV in episodes of Cheers and Friends. I believe the friends appearance has midgets, although I'm almost certain it was more than once. The strangest reference I ever saw was on a BBC comedy show, I think it was David Baddiel, can't find it on youtube right now although I have found it before. Bare with me and wait for the edit. EDIT: Well, I've searched and searched. The TV show was The Mary Whitehouse Experience which aired for two series' on BBC TV. It wasn't that good from what I recall just a reference and a guy in costume. I saw an episode of the Mary Whitehouse Experience and it showed a funeral where the mourners were waiting in church for the coffin to arrive. Predictably, the casket turns up being carried by druids led by Rob Newman dressed as old-school undertaker and David Baddiel as Paul Bearer. At the time I marked outward for that gag!

An episode of Salute Your Shorts where Sponge and Donkeylips were trying out for wrestling and Budnick said he only watched wrestling if it's "Sgt. Slaughter piledriving the Atomic Werewolf".
In the movie Natural Born Killers, Rodney Dangerfield's character watches a WWF match involving Tatanka and Rodney says "What is this (gay slur) crap?" and "Kill the f***ing Indian!"
In the movie Creepshow, Stephen King's character watches a WWF match involving the Iron Sheik.

I always dug the shot of Bret Hart putting Chris Benoit in a sharpshooter in the Malcolm in the Middle opening. Were any of the characters even wrestling fans? Francis bribes them in one episode with promises of sharing tickets to a wrestling event, so yeah, they are. Not a reference to any specific wrestler, but in Gundam AGE, the Titus can use a beam that comes from his arm to weaponize his arm to lariat enemies. I think they even specifically call it a Lariat.

A few weeks ago, on Yo, Is This Racist? (the podcast, not the blog), Andrew Ti and whoever the guest was at the time brought up the "Rap Is Crap" song during a discussion of pop radio stations that don't play rap. They also concluded that wrestling is the most racist thing ever... in its current state, never mind back in its heyday.
(Oh, and they declared that those radio stations are racist.)

Just found another one. In That's My Boy the pedophile teacher was wearing a Hulk Hogan shirt when Sandler and Samberg went to visit her in prison.
