Seriously, did anyone really want Kofi and Truth to retain? They're the best example of a thrown-together tag team with no feasible reason to stay together. To be fair, most of the tag teams in the WWE, are thrown together. Prime Time Players, Hawkins/Reks, Kidd/Gabriel and to some extent Primo & Epico are "thrown together". The feasible reason is that they're two over uppercarders who can't fit into anything else. If PTP won the belts, they would just drop the belts to two other popular midcard faces. |
