well i had fun. got to see some great wrestling (even if i was very exhausted and tired) and picked up both nights of BOLA on dvd, which means as soon the crappy motel wifi is done uploading the video to YouTube i'll have a little gift for the for (w)Rest of Wrestling section of the FAN forum

Why would new crowd members be afraid to cheer? That doesn't make a lot of sense Not saying they're afraid to cheer, just that they don't know who to cheer for. I guarantee a LOT of the newbies are there because of Joey Ryan, which means they're TNA/WWE fans. Who are used to cheering faces and booing heels. In a fed like PWG, which is heavily Puro influenced, there isn't really much of a face-heel dynamic. To the PWG regulars, EVERYONE is over. So I can imagine the new fans to feel a bit confused and possibly overwhelmed.

Joey Ryan is great, but i doubt his work in TNA so far is enough to bring new fans to a PWG show. Most of that 87% he speaks of were probably fans of his work already. He might bring fans in eventually when he gets to showcase more on TNA TV, but i highly doubt there are people who were drawn to the show by Joey Ryan. Look at the shows last year with Alex Shelly, and he didn't draw a whole bunch of new people.

Though his Twitter followers jumped by quite a large number after Gutcheck, and, when you're talking about the Legion Hall, all you need is 100-150 people to go from a good turnout to Super No Vacancy.

The preview reminded me just how brutal Steen's powerbombs look on guys like Ricochet. Holy Crap that looked like it hurt.

OH SNAP SON *Possible/Probable Language Warning*Just in case there was any doubt, ELGIN IS A f***ING BEAST! And this was AFTER a near half hour war with Sami the night before in Chicago. Elgin then flew BACK to Chicago after this, when I met him at the SHIMMER afterparty. Crazy man.

Johnny Goodtime's beard is getting into Mike Knox levels of epicry. Which is good, since he looks really odd without it.

Really wasn't expecting this for a few weeks. My pocket is taking a big hit thanks to this and shopTNA. Anyways, I'm going to pick up: 1) Kurt Russellreunion III 2) World's Finest 3) DDT4 (2012) 4) Death to all but Metal 5) Threemendous III and: 1) Battle of Los Angeles 2012 Night 1 2) Battle of Los Angeles 2012 Night 2 3) ? 4) ? 5) ? I have no idea what to get for the other 3. I only have all the shows from 2011 and the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles DVDs. Suggestions?

The three best shows of 2009 in my opinion.

I'd suggest Based on a True Story, Giant Sized Annual #4 and As the Worm Turns. The first 2 are from 2007 and the last one is from 2010.

Don't get me wrong DDT4 09 was probably the best one ever with Roddy and Danielson/Dyansty, Bucks/Cutlers, MOLMF/Bucks, and so and and so forth. You're right; I've been a fool. How could I have forgotten this one?
