Sami Callihan to win it all. His record in tournaments is unparalleled.

So I'm heading to check into my hotel and behind me walks in Adam Cole, Samuel Callihan and Michael Elgin
Update: Kevin Steen, B-Boy, Eddie Edwards, Drake Younger & Roderick Strong as well, all of whom are literally less than ten feet from my room at the pool. fyi Stern won't wrestle without his shirt off but he will swim without his shirt on.

Another upset, IMO. Sami Calihan beat Willie Mack to move on.

Elgin beat Davey to close out night one.
Great show tonight, but I was honestly blown away by the Willie Mack/Sami Callahan match as well as the Cole/Generico match. Cole.Generico makes sense as Generico's already won the BOLA, so it's very plausible but I just didn't see it coming. But Willie/Sami, that one was the biggest shocker of the night. Nobody saw that coming. This could have been disastrous for Willie's push but then I remembered that Steen and Generico are out as well. My thinking is that tomorrow night we get a three way for the PWG title involving all three of those guys.

Why was there a smaller setup? Were tickets more expensive than usual since it's BOLA, and it thus became more difficult to sell as many as a regular show?

Damn, that's a lot of surprising results.
Since Mack lost, I'm now pulling for Ricochet.

I have a feeling that, much like DDT4 was used to really establish the SSB as newer guys to PWG, this tournament is gonna make or break someone new to the company.
That said, I'm calling the final as Sami/Elgin, with maybe Drake as a dark horse, since he's obviously cheaper to book.

I think Younger was already eliminated.

Not sure of the quarter final lineups, but Wiki believes they're Ricochet/Cole, Elgin/Edwards, Callihan/Cage and TJP/Strong.

Though PWG's Twitter just said that they will not release the quarter final lineup, it'll be a surprise for fans in the building.
