I'm the exact opposite. I liked Shawn's 2005-2010 attire, but most of his previous attires, especially 1994-1998 were pretty, ummmmm....well I'm not going to say it but I'm sure most o you know where I'm going with this. Looking back on it now I can understand how you might get those.....feelings but I probably should've mentioned that 1994-1998 coincided with ages 6-10 for me so my perspective was a bit different. ;D I was 17-21 from 1994 to 1998.

The One Night Only tights are the best, but I really like the alternate version of those he wore at Wrestlemania 19 ![](http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2007/03/23/jericho_hbk2.jpg) ![](http://sportsmedia.ign.com/sports/image/article/775/775590/top-20-matches-in-wrestlemania-history-20070323040808263-000.jpg)

A little off-topic, but I remember when I was nine or ten asking my mom if she could sew on little "heartbreak patches" onto some pajama style pants I had so I could look like HBK. She looked at my for a second, said, "you're going to look like a gay person" and then laughed and laughed at me. Here I was thinking that Shawn Michaels, my favorite wrestler, and to me, the guy that got all the girls, was gay. I laugh about this now, but man was I confused and angry then.
On-topic, I really liked his gear for the Sid match at SS (as well as the Rumble.) I also like the ones (first run, not sure which PPV it was) where he had black pants, read trim, and inside the hearts were zebra striped.

Here was the one I was referring too... ![](http://www.wwe.com/f/styles/superstar_large/public/talent/profile/2012/02/shawnmichaels_1_full.png) Probably my favourite of his 2005-2010 attires.

I think I remember Shawn talking about Randy Savage advising him to "invest in his gimmick" - hence why he had such awesome and different attire throughout his singles run. Fits that those two had the most eye-catching attires of everyone in the business at that point.
I can't really think of that many bad ones tbh. The whole "gay biker" look I thought at the time was a mistake, EC we know actually was a mistake, but I always remember liking his outfits - even when I hated him. When he returned at SummerSlam 02 he just wore jeans, which I didn't like because he'd always had such great outfits; I thought he might've been going for a change like when the Bulldog had the Hardcore title and wore jeans rather than his awesome Union Flag tights, or at least trunks. Fortunately Shawn didn't make that change permanent.
He must have 100s stored away now just judging by this thread.

a shame he didn't stick with the blue tights more often, they were by far his best imo.

These ones were cool: ![](http://niceshoesbitch.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/sm11.jpg) I was going to make mention of that attire, especially since it was featured in "Know Your Role". But... as for worst, I'd suggest pretty much anything during his first two months back full-time, starting with the Elimination Chamber and those brown chaps and generic pants.

It bothers me to this day that Shawn never brought back the matching wrist bands/gloves when he returned - he just never looked right with boring tape.
I also never liked his chaps, his tights were always way cooler IMO.

I'll always associate Shawn with this look ![](http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_tF5ltP_3V8Q/TESQnp3WahI/AAAAAAAAAL0/dJsdp5QSYAU/s1600/Shawn+Michaels+(107).jpg) wrestling in the leather chaps was horrible though...and it must've been hot and uncomfortable. The only reason he wore them was to get a louder clap when smacking his thigh while doing the superkick

He thought he wore the chaps because his knees were braced to hell. Like how Rey switched.

I always liked the Blue/Green colored ones. I believe the first series of BCA figures had himin those tights. Those and his zebrastriped ones. Something just stood out from his other red/black and white combonations.
As far as worst, the brown tights from the Chamber match, just god awful. I remember watching it, thinking to myself "Wut DA Hale?". Everything about his look that night was wrong...

![](http://por-img.cimcontent.net/api/assets/bin-200907/3ac96195777cab80ded44a0ca30a27dd.jpg) That's probably my favorite non tights attire he's worn. Favorite tights are in my sig.

He said they are easier too wear then his tights. The source is a Q& A video he did on youtube from his site.

I loved the blue attire he had at SummerSlam 1995 vs. Razor

I loved his gear that he wore in the HIAC match with 'Taker and the MSJ match (screwjob shoot aside, I mark out more for that match over the Ironman match from WM 12).
I hated his gear from his match against Hogan.

Yeah the blue attire vs Razor in the ladder match with the dangly sparkly bits was awesome. I loved that as a kid.

I always like his style in the 90's with the motorcycle boots. I've hated his recent years attires with the long trouser looking things...
