I'd like to add: Best case scenarios: *The Faces of Pain pummel the ever-loving crap out of Team ROH, especially the Young Bucks. *Quack snaps on the Swarm, catapulting him down the road to rudo-ness. Worst case scenarios: *Team ROH wins the whole thing. *Either of the Joshi teams or Team Osaka Pro advances even one round in the tournament. *The Submission Squad does...anything besides getting slapped silly. Most of these are.... I honestly mean no insult by this, but.... they're markish. What I mean by that is, you just want your favorite teams to win and your least favorite teams to lose, but the weird thing is you're apparently judging the health of the company by it. I totally agree with the Quack starting to go rudo thing. But, I have no idea who the Submission Squad is, but... I mean, can the heels seriously not win a few matches without you guys thinking the whole show is a nightmare? Me, I'm rooting for the Sendai Girls. I can see your point but honestly, but if you don't know who the Submission Squad is then you don't know just how badly the laid an egg at the 2009 KOT. The real reason why the Arena closed down was to get the smell of stagnating sulfur out of there from that match they had three years ago. There's a reason why everyone hates them, and it's not because they play such great heels. As for everything thing else, it's not so much that I want my teams to win, I just want something to happen that isn't business as usual. I'm bored to death with GEKIDO, the titles mean nothing, and nobody has taken the place of Claudio, Vin, or Brodie as the big bad heel. All I want is to not be let down. Again.

No, I don't think Chikara will die the next day if any of my "worst case scenarios" pass. Hell, I want to see FIST (heels), the Throwbacks (tweeners, bordering on heel due to Mr. Touchdown), and the Batiri (definitely heels) advance for sure. Maybe I should have labeled it "things I want to see" and "things I don't want to see" so it didn't seem so extreme.

I still don't get the amount of hate the Japanese teams are getting. With me, it's the fact that A)Who the f*** are these joshi people, and B)They may be FANTASTIC wrestlers, but they're not gonna build angles, show characters, or even be in the company next month. I actually like all the Osaka Pro people being brought in, even if Takoyakida and Johnel Sanders are a little.....jobbery, but the fact is, half the field of King of Trios are people that are here for a one shot payday because Quack marks for them. Hence, my distaste. Chikara's done nothing over the past two seasons to build the long term story, which seems to have hit a great big pause button.

I still don't get the amount of hate the Japanese teams are getting. It's a combination of hard feelings over what happened with the Young Lions Cup last year, and the fact that in the grand scheme of things, they don't have much of an impact in the Chikara storyline. Though, Toyota has a chance to this time, if Quack loses it. It's not really a hate towards the japanese teams, just a want for storylines to progress, hence a bias for the home talent.

Jeez this forum is so spoiled it can't enjoy good wrestling matches I could give a crap, if they gave me a reason to emotionally invest in the matches. Instead, it's just "Hey, X is wrestling Y, isn't that great?" No emotion, no story, just a match for the sake of a match. How in the world is that supposed to be entertaining? ESPECIALLY from Chikara, which distinguished itself from other indies by virtue of it's relatively deep, involved storylines? Also, I think it's interesting you respond to rational, reasoned out arguments with one sentence insults. Fairly telling.

Jeez this forum is so spoiled it can't enjoy good wrestling matches What do you think sells tickets, chief? King of Trios has never been about the story. It has always, always been about dream matches with stars you won't see anywhere else. Their least story driven show makes them the most money. Anyone that can't see that must be new to Chikara.

You do have to admit that this year, Chikara have had more off shows than on, and the GEKIDO angle has been a major bust. Trios and the next iPPV have to be massive hits.

I just wanted to say I hate Scarlett her voice is annoying, and she looks likes she's being held Hostage by Quack with the way she reads her lines. Let Veda host it please

I do expect a certain level of quality from a promotion that made it a point to run with a story line that started in 2007 that weaved in multiple angles into one big super event that gave the promotion more visability and popularity and made every other indie look like also rans in the process. So when the same promotion throws WCW Saturday Night level shows and says "Here, this should do.", I tend to be disappointed. But whatever, "the wrestling is awesome" or whatever because that's all that matters.
