I've got a sneaking feeling the Swarm/Soldier Ant trio is going to get to the final.

Fact they've shown off the distrust/lack of organisation before the event makes me think they'll eventually gel together and gone on some sort of rampage, before the eventual collapse occurs in the final.

7/31/2012: He may not be 100% just yet, but Fire Ant is back! At our August 12 event to benefit Baseballtown Charities, wrestling's "hottest property" is coming back, and in plenty of time for King of Trios 2012!

So Wink, I think you need to re-examine your decision regarding Soldier Ant for KOT. It was one thing when Fire Ant's status was up in the air, but there is no doubt now. He will be ready to go. Put The Colony back together. If you believe in stats, then look at the two losses your patchwork version of The Swarm racked up just this past weekend!



You said it best in your blog - people want to see the ants! Now, with Fire Ant returning from injury, you can put The Colony back together just in time for the biggest tournament in all of pro-wrestling.

If you want to win the support of the CHIKARMY, Wink, this is something you NEED to do.

Huh, just had an interesting idea surrounding that. Let's say Green Ant gets his way. What's to stop The Swarm from incapacitating Soldier, having one of their guys take his place(the bodies won't match up, probably, but screw it, worse cases of identity fraud have been done), and having him cost The Colony proper the match?

There are three ways I wouldn't mind seeing this go:

• Soldier pull rank and tell GA to shut and he was given his orders and will carry them out like a good soldier does. Maybe GA gets mad and turns on the Colony since his attitude would fit with the Gekido better anyway.
  
• Have Wink put both Trios in the KOT and have them in the finals with Soldier having to make a choice (maybe showing Stockholm Syndrome after spending time with the Swarm/Gekido and leaving them). This may be too similar to the Delirious stuff though.
  
• Soldier turns on the Colony and becomes a soldier for hire ant with the Gekido. Have the Colony bring in a new guy and face the Swarm.
  

Not great but just really anything to break up the monotony of Chikara and the Colony would be nice IMO.
