So I've started up that Invasion-based game. Started the brand split, not every WCW wrestler has been brought up, though. Their roster going into the second Nitro is as follows:
Main Event: Booker T(face)
Upper Midcard: DDP, Chris Benoit(faces)
Yeah, got some work to do there...
Midcard: Hugh Morrus, Billy Kidman, Sean O'Haire, Chuck Palumbo, Gregory Helms, Tajiri, K-Kwik, Lash LeRoux(faces), Kanyon, D'Lo Brown, Lance Storm, Mike Awesome, Jerry Lynn, Mike Sanders, Shawn Stasiak(heels)
Lower Midcard: Jamie Knoble, Big Vito, Johnny The Bull(faces), Chavo Guerrero, Kaz Hayashi, Mark Jindrak, Evan Karagias, Shannon Moore(heels)
Managers: Arn Anderson, Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson(faces), Stacy Keibler(heel)
Non Wrestlers: Shane McMahon, Mick Foley(faces)
I'm planning on also moving Justin Credible, Test, Big Show, and Dean Malenko to WCW to help fill out the roster a bit.
I've got Hugh Morrus and Mike Awesome feuding, along with Kidman and Kanyon, who will be facing off for the US Title. Jerry Lynn is chasing Gregory Helms for the Cruiserweight title, and Palumbo and O'Haire are feuding with The Impact Players(or will be, started the feud but haven't done anything with it yet)
On the WWF side:
Main Event: The Rock, The Undertaker(faces), Triple H, Steve Austin, Kurt Angle(heels)
Upper Midcard: Bubba Ray Dudley, Chris Jericho, Kane, Billy Gunn(faces), Edge, Christian, Rhyno, Rikishi(heels)
Midcard: Bradshaw, Faarooq, D-Von Dudley, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Chyna, Raven, Scotty 2 Hotty, Grandmasta Sexay, Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly, Spike Dudley, Test, Tazz(faces), Albert, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, William Regal, Perry Saturn, X-Pac, Justin Credible, Val Venis, Steven Richards, The Goodfather, Big Show(heels)
Lower Midcard: Jacqueline(face), Taka Michinoku, Funaki(tweeners), Bull Buchanan, Ivory(heels)
Managers: Lita, Debra, Molly Holly(faces), Paul Heyman, Terri, Stephanie McMahon(heels)
Non Wrestlers: Shawn Michaels(face), Vince McMahon(heel)
Jericho is feuding with Regal over the IC Title, while Rhyno and Raven are fighting for the Hardcore title.
You'll notice I'm feuding midcard and a couple of upper midcard guys right now. Trying to get those guys over so I can execute some plans.
I've also given WCW a small number of PPVs: SummerSlam is now Bash at the Beach, No Mercy is Halloween Havoc, Armageddon is Starrcade, and No Way Out is SuperBrawl. Not killing SummerSlam completely, but for this storyline, SummerSlam 2001 will be a WCW production. Expect updates, because this should be good.

So we just launched on Box TV. We film on Monday's with the show playing on Wednesday in the Early Evening which isn't so bad. 5-7 PM ain't such a bad slot. The ratings however were bad. We managed a 0.0 which probably means under 10,000 but I like to imagine that absolutely nobody watched the show.
Show was a big one. The former IPW Heavyweight Champion (Our rival company) Orlando Jordan debuted beating a jobber and attacking NWA New Zealand Heavyweight Champion Reuben De Jong after the main event. This is a big match for me because it's the two top guys in New Zealand wrestling (Orlando never lost the IPW belt) and Reuben De Jong hasn't lost since 2015 (Now 2017) and has been champion for a year and a half. These two will have quite the feud and it will hopefully result in some improved show ratings.
The Bushwhackers didn't make an appearance but were advertised for next week. Crowd didn't care and I'm not sure why. They have strong popularity in New Zealand and are costing me 500 each a show so I'd hope they do good business for me. Maybe the fans just aren't interested in ol butch and Luke.

Well, the day before Backlash, William Regal checked himself into rehab. He was supposed to take the Intercontinental Championship off of Jericho, so obviously, plans have to change. Also, Lash LeRoux is out until June with a tricep strain, but that's not as big a deal, since he's not one of the guys I'm building WCW around.
Also, moved Test to WCW. At Backlash, Shane McMahon beat Big Show in a Last Man Standing match thanks to Test's interference. Next night on Nitro, Test officially joined the show and defeated Chavo Guerrero. Also, Chris Benoit defeated Kurt Angle in the other inter-promotional match. And Rhyno beat Raven for the Hardcore title, while Val Venis turned on Right to Censor and went face, by costing Steven Richards his match with The Undertaker. The Dudley Boyz beat X-Factor when Credible lost the pin, and Edge and Christian cheated their way to a win over The APA to retain the Tag Team Championship. Matt Hardy and Lita won an impromptu mixed tag over Triple H and Stephanie, but Stone Cold retained the WWF Championship over Jeff Hardy. But after the match, The Undertaker laid down the challenge for Judgment Day.

I've started a new BY2G since I can't find the USB dive with my old complete BY2G save on it.
I used the name of an old e-fed I was part of years ago - Outlaw Wrestling League, or OWL when we're being clever. Our mascot is Hooters the Owl, who is a jobber, announcer, etc. We've held four events and our champion, Jack Action, is about to defend at our fifth show against the Rhyno-esque monster, Macho Killer. Both men are nearly reaching the 50s in overness so I expect them to be stolen soon.
I plan on putting the Outlaw Title on Scotty Vegas, who always makes appearences in BY2G diaries because of his extremely low wage. Scotty is doing a Las Vegas pimp/Val Venis style gimmick and is currently in a loose feud with his team mate Prince Raindbow against Hypnosis and Supa Cito aka Hombres Mascara. I've made money each month except one when I got a bit carried away with booking my entire roster on the show.
I'm currently at 5% PI and my nearest rival is fellow backyard outfit, Diamond Dust Wrestling which is at 65% and full of high flyers.
Other news:
- Kevin Nash is Ring of Honor's top star - CM Punk is touring with either New Japan or Zero 1, I can't remember which. - Colt Cobana and Scott Hall were Juggalo Wrestling's two top guys. One month later they were out of business. - I entered Global Force Wrestling as a Cult fed with only Jeff and Karen Jarrett as unsackables and they've built a roster of (top 5) Jeff Jarrett, Billy Gunn, Lita, Carlito and Tommy Dreamer...

OK, I'm having trouble.
I tried a couple of new games, one was Chikara Feb. 2010, the other WWF 1998. Chikara is a regional company at this point, how exactly do you progress with a regional company? Some guys will sign written deals, but even then, not enough to book a full show. And the only talent I can hire are 70 overness and below. Plus every Sunday, I lose public image, except for when I have a show. But the problem is, I'm starting at 81% PI, by the second month, I'm down to around 70-75%. And I can't get a TV deal no matter what networks I try. So what's the secret, here?
In the WWF game... I think the game is rigged in favor of WCW. Cause I've done WCW games and never had a problem, always gain PI every show, even Saturday Night, which is typically my opener/lower midcard extravaganza. But with WWF, I lose PI after Shotgun and Heat. I started at 40%, now it's the end of the month and I'm at 28%. And I just had the Royal Rumble, too. The PPV and Raw got me back to 30%, but Shotgun bumped me back down. And the hits I take are usually huge ones. And I had the same problem with WWF 1995, where I just can't seem to build PI.
It's really taking the fun out of these games for me.

Also, do you have a TV show or are you running weekly shows? If you are running weekly shows, I'd say bite the bullet and just stick to one show every month. I've never played a game where I've made money off non-televised weekly shows. In addition to that, search for talent that have good stats but aren't very over. Those are the ones you lock down under a written contract (At least two years in case they get too over and don't want to resign when their contract is up) and build the company around. That's how you survive and allow your company to grow. As for the WWF game, again, I say check your advertising. Are you at war with WCW? That could be hurting you as well, especially if they have more star power (which I'm guessing they do) and/or have better workers.

For the Chikara game, I just have the one show a month. I've been trying to get TV, but had no luck so far. Most of the guys I picked up are WWE/TNA castoffs like Leo Kruger, Bo Dallas, Consequences Creed, and G-Rilla, to name a few. And I can usually get some of the Chikara guys to sign full-time, like Quack, Claudio(for a hefty price), Hallowicked, Mantis, The Colony, and few others. I'll check the advertising though, since I didn't realize that.
As for the WWF game, everything's at 100%. And yeah, I am at war with WCW and they do have more stars and better workers. My main event and upper midcard scenes:
ME: Austin, Owen, Michaels, Undertaker UMC: Triple H, Rock, Shamrock, Cactus Jack, Kane
WCW:
ME: Hogan, Hall, Nash, Savage, Piper, Flair, Bret, Sting UMC: Luger, Giant, DDP, The Steiners, Raven, Hennig, Bulldog
So yeah, a bit of a disparity. Plus I lost Michaels on day 2 when he checked into rehab. I put the belt on Owen(probably should've given it to Austin, since he's my top star, but I wanted to build that to WrestleMania).
So yeah, though... is there any real chance, besides using my top guys on every show? Reason I don't is it's not realistic, but if that's what I have to do, I will.

It's really taking the fun out of these games for me. Don't book your company like it's a big company. Don't try to sign workers to long term deals unless they're a good combination of talented, cheap, and not over. Advertise a lot. If you have to, fire some workers and use the money on advertising. Put on a good event, then the next day send out tapes to some small tv station. Don't be concerned about what TV station you have, once you have a tv show you can use feuds to get people over, and use the first show to springboard your way to a better deal Run a low-risk promotion. It's not as much fun, but it's easier to get sponsors, tv, and attendance that way, at least at first. Do everything you can to put on good segments. Focus on putting on the best card possible. If that means hiring untalented (but charismatic) people and only putting them in talking segments, do that. If it means hiring a bunch of speed workers to put on a spotfest, do that. Don't try to grow too quickly. Be very stingy with your contracts. Don't hire too many people, and be willing to hire flawed workers with one skill and use them to get other people or segments over. As for the WCW / WWF game, you're screwed unless you build more stars. If the other fed has more star power and better workers, you're going to lose massive amounts of image every week that you're at war. So use feuds to build up guys, and try to find better workers. Also advertise as much as possible. But because you're at war and have a weaker roster, just having TV shows isn't going to help your image at all.

Yeah, I know getting your talent stolen sucks but, if you don't have TV, you have to work with open contracts. You won't make money any other way.

Well, took three months, but I got a TV deal! On Comcast, so it won't get a lot of viewers, but it is prime time. And I'm at 90% PI, with only four guys who won't sign written deals. Things are looking up.
For my first show, gonna have Generation Me cash in their points against The Colony. Also gonna have Up In Smoke and Hallowicked face FIST, Jigsaw against Claudio, and a four-way tag with Delirious and Mantis, House Of Truth, 2.0, and Da Soul Touchaz.

First show went well, Colony retained and now Mantis and Delirious have three points. Fire Ant, Cheech, and Acid Jaz have all moved up the card. And next is Young Lions Cup...

Continued my "Book Mid-2000s WWE like Current WWE" game up to the 2005 Royal Rumble. Here's the lead-up.
Eric Bischoff was put back in power on the final Raw of 2004 and he comes out with his new group, The Authority, to do some bragging. The Authority consists of Bischoff, Coachman, Angle, Big Show, Kane, and Randy Orton. Because of Orton's part in bringing Bischoff back to power, he is inserted into the WWE Championship match. Making it Triple H vs Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton. Meanwhile, as punishment for their involvement at Survivor Series, Eddie Guerrero, Rhyno, and Mark Jindrak are fired. Orton acquires the rage of Lesnar by RKOing him during the contract signing. This all ends on the go home show where, thanks to interference from the debuting Sting, Triple H beats Orton, Show, and Kane to get Guerrero, Rhyno, and Jindrak rehired. Lesnar comes out and wrecks Show and Kane and then beats down Orton.
Elsewhere, The Dudley Boyz successfully merged the two tag titles and became the Undisputed Tag Team Champions of the World. Their new challengers are the oddball pairing of JBL and Eugene. After being squashed for the WWE Title by Lesnar, JBL had a fall from grace and was tasked by Bischoff to look after his cousin Eugene. JBL has been attempting to mentor him but mainly ends up stealing the spotlight and yelling at him.
Trish Stratus has had a stranglehold on the WWE Women's Championship, having held it since June of 2004, she recently enlisted Molly Holly as her partner in crime in an attempt to hold on to the belt. Despite this Victoria still managed to score a win over Stratus and was saved from a 2 on 1 attack by the returning Jazz. So at Royal Rumble the unlikely team of Victoria and Jazz will take on Trish Stratus and Molly Holly.
Toward the end of 2004, Matt Morgan and Brent Albright made their debut in WWE as The Ascension, a Road Warrior-esque group that mainly defeated jobbers. On the Raw before the Rumble the Ascension interrupted a meeting of old tag teams, Demolition, The Bushwhackers, and The Quebecers. The Ascension called them all has-beens before being driven from the ring by The Quebecers. It was later announced that The Ascension vs The Quebecers was set for the Royal Rumble.
Taijiri and his tag partner, Paul London, had recently decided to team up with the newly heel Scotty 2 Hotty to take on The New Day (Billy Kidman, Charlie Haas, and Shelton Benjamin) who they had been having trouble with.
Leading into the Rumble, Batista feuded with the Big Show in matches that usually ended in a DQ or Countout. Chris Benoit battled Kane to keep his spot in the Rumble, and the recently reinstated Guerrero and Rhyno made it into the Rumble while Jindrak did not.
And so we go to the Royal Rumble
0. (This match was on Sunday Night Heat prior to the PPV) Taijiri and Paul London defeated Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin after Taijiri delivered a kick to Haas from the outside and London finished him.
1. The Ascension defeated The Quebecers when Morgan pinned Ouellet.
2. The Dudley Boyz defeated JBL and Eugene to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships. JBL refused to tag in Eugene and suffered for it.
3. Trish Stratus and Molly Holly defeated Victoria and Jazz when Stratus pinned Victoria. Holly kept Jazz off the apron for the end.
4. Brock Lesnar defeated Triple H and Randy Orton to retain the WWE World Championship. Lesnar was taken out in the middle of the match when Orton dived on him through the announce table. Lesnar eventually came back and wrecked both H and Otron, pinning Orton to retain.
5. Batista won the Royal Rumble match, last eliminating Rene Dupree. Batista was made to look strong almost at the expense of everyone else. Surprise appearances included Billy Gunn, Vader, and The Godfather. Edge lasted the longest in the match and he, Dupree, and Batista had the most eliminations at 6. The shortest time was technically Spike Dudley, who never got to wrestle as he was taken out by Mark Jindrak, but shortest time for a person who actually made it in the ring goes to Snitsky who lasted 4 seconds.

Chikara has risen to cult level. The Wednesday night show is running well, and I'm slowly seeing my talent get more over. Feuds I'm running:
Mike Quackenbush vs. Claudio Castagnoli - dates back to my first event, when Quack beat Claudio. Since then, the two of faced off several times, trading victories, Claudio winning the most recent match by cheating.
The Osirian Portal vs. Generation Me - This one stems from a match between the two teams that went to a time limit draw.
House of Truth vs. Da Soul Touchaz - On the first episode of Chikara Wrestling, both teams were involved in a 4-way elimination match, which was won by The Neo -Solar Temple. Since then, the teams have been feuding, with House of Truth currently holding the upper hand, and two points.
Hallowicked vs. Chuck Taylor - Hallowicked has pinned Chuck several times in singles and tag matches, while Taylor's only win came via cheating.
At Young Lion's Cup, Shiima Xion defeated PAC to win the tournament and the title. As well, House of Truth beat Da Soul Touchaz, Chuck Taylor beat Hallowicked, Fire Ant defeated Icarus, Incognito defeated Ophidian, and Jigsaw defeated Eddie Kingston to end their feud.
Both F.I.S.T. and Up In Smoke have earned three points, earning both teams a shot at the Campeones de Parejas. F.I.S.T. will get first crack at The Colony, by virtue of earning their third point a week before Up In Smoke did. F.I.S.T. and Up In Smoke also just recently ended their feud at my July event.
And I will be instituting a new championship, the Chikara Television Championship. To crown the first Champion, there will be a Block Round Robin Tournament. There are four blocks, with the top two in each block advancing to the single elimination round.
Block A: Eddie Kingston, Necro Butcher, Drake Younger, Masada Block B: Jigsaw, Chuck Taylor, Incognito, Ophidian Block C: Mike Quackenbush, UltraMantis Black, Tim Donst, Fire Ant Block D: Claudio Castagnoli, Hallowicked, Player Uno, Delirious
The Television Championship will be my main singles belt, pretty much.

ECW 1998 is looking pretty interesting. I've hired William Regal after WCW didn't renew his contract and have bought in Bradshaw, NWO Sting, Kenta Kobashi and Koji Kanemoto on short-term loans. Let's just say that Living Dangerously 1998 is looking pretty interesting.
I'm thinking of having Kanemoto take on Mikey Whipwreck for the crusierweight title, Kenta vs Regal, Bradshaw versus Tommy Dreamer and I guess maybe Taz vs NWO Sting.

I'd say it went pretty well. Bradshaw and Tommy Dreamer had Wrestlemania on that day so neither were able to wrestle this show. Violent Conduct are Hernandez & Homicide & Noble vs Awesome was literally just a squash match where Awesome murdered Noble before putting him through a table. Also the Dudleys vs Chair Swinging Freaks match was a lighttube match and I was kinda shocked that was allowed.

Got a bit tired of booking a New Zealand company so launched a WCW 2000 game starting in January and all I can say is wow what a horrible roster they had back then.
Main Event:
Bret Hart (Injured to replicate real life), Buff Bagwell (Heel), Chris Benoit , Diamond Dallas Page , Goldberg (Injured for three months), Hulk Hogan (Injured), Jeff Jarrett (Heel) Kevin Nash (Heel), Konnan, Lex Luger (Heel), Ric Flair (Injured), Scott Hall (Heel), Scott Steiner (Heel), Sid Vicious, Sting (Injured)
So about three thousand heels and only four baby faces. This means guys like Konnan are headlining Nitro against Kevin Nash whilst Eddie Guerrero is wrestling Lex Luger on Pay Per View. Really need Hogan, Flair and Sting back so I can kill off the nWo once and for all. I plan to replicate real life as well and have Benoit, Eddie, Malenko, Perry and Douglas all leave as well which will leave me with just 2 faces until Hulk Hogan returns.
About to book WCW Souled Out so here is my card:
WCW World Heavyweight Title Match (Vacant currently)
Chris Benoit Vs Sid Vicious
WCW United States Title Match:
Booker T Vs Jeff Jarrett (C)
WCW World Tag Team Title Match (Vacant currently)
Billy Kidman and Vampiro Vs The Outsiders
Buff Bagwell Vs Diamond Dallas Page
Eddie Guerrero Vs Lex Luger
WCW World Television Title Match (Vacant currently)
Konnan Vs Scott Steiner
Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn Vs David Flair and Crowbar W/ Daffney
Hugh Morrus Vs Jim Duggan
Chavo Guerrero Jr Vs Evan Karaigas.
---
Yeah...that's some card

Well, Drake Younger is out for 8 months with a neck injury. That kinda messes up my tournament plans. Although Necro Butcher just moved up in the world...

So here's the layout for the TV title tournament:
Block A: Drake Younger def. Masada Eddie Kingston def. Necro Butcher
Masada vs. Necro Butcher Kingston via forfeit
Kingston vs. Masada Necro Butcher via forfeit
Block B: Jigsaw def. Ophidian Incognito def. Chuck Taylor
Taylor vs. Ophidian Jigsaw vs. Incognito
Jigsaw vs. Taylor Incognito vs. Ophidian
Block C: UltraMantis Black def. Mike Quackenbush Fire Ant def. Tim Donst
Quack vs. Donst Mantis vs. Fire Ant
Fire Ant vs. Quack Mantis vs. Donst
Block D: Hallowicked def. Delirious Claudio Castagnoli def. Player Uno
Player Uno vs. Delirious Claudio vs. Hallowicked
Claudio vs. Delirious Hallowicked vs. Player Uno
Ended Quack/Claudio and immediately moved on to Delirious/Quack. My plan is to make Quack the Tommy Dreamer of Chikara. Meanwhile, I'm going to make Kingston my Taz.
In the tag team division, FIST beat Up In Smoke, so there are currently no number one contenders. House of Truth have two points, and are facing Da Soul Touchas this week. 2.0 are also getting a push. Other teams on the roster include The Colony, Psycho Circus, and the Neo-Solar Temple, as well as QuackSaw. With Tag World Grand Prix a few months away, I'll be bringing in some new teams soon.
I have two women, MsChif and Sara Del Rey. I will probably create a women's title sometime next year.

OK, something odd has happened to me twice, now. When I tried to sign Drake Younger and now Davey Richards, it said that they agreed to the contract, but they didn't show up on my roster. With Younger, I had to really increase my offer to get him to sign. With Richards, I'm not gonna bother. But why would that happen?
