Ever planned to book something that you know would have pissed off a bunch of people in real life? For my WWE 2010 game, I was planning on having a storyline where Christian remained ECW Champion, as the brand continued to exist, became a Tweener and formed a faction with Chris Jericho and a debuting Wade Barrett that was formed to prove ECW deserved more respect. It would eventually culminate in a Triple Threat Title match (WWE, WHC & ECW all on the line) at Survivor Series with Christian finally winning the WWE title by pinning the Champion, John Morrison. After half a minute later, Miz would have then cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and would then win the WWE Championship from Christian. Christian would then lose the rematch and go onto lose the ECW Championship to Wade Barrett to put the latter over. Considering the reaction some had to Orton beating Christian for the title, I think something like this would have probably provoked an even stronger one. I'm thinking about having Chris Hero (who has gotten massively over, very quick) win the KOTR, end Sheamus' WHC reign of terror at Summerslam, a few months from now, and then having Cody Rhodes immediately cash in on him.

Christian would then lose the rematch and go onto lose the ECW Championship to Wade Barrett to put the latter over. Considering the reaction some had to Orton beating Christian for the title, I think something like this would have probably provoked an even stronger one. I may have one-upped you in this department. Edge and Christian were both faces on Smackdown, would reunite for a big tag match every now and then, help each other out if they needed it, that kind of thing. Edge would later turn heel and the two would begin a heated rivalry, with Edge winning a #1 contender's match and soon after becoming WWE Champion. Christian won the Royal Rumble and after an incredibly hot program, defeated Edge in an epic match at WrestleMania to win the WWE Championship for the first time... Shelton Benjamin immediately cashed in the Money in the Bank contract he won earlier in the night on a tired Christian, winning the title in a minute. This sparked another intense rivarly, with Benjamin retaining his title through nefarious means in a triple threat match (also invovling Edge) at Backlash and in the Elimination Chamber the following month. Christian was granted one final shot at the title, facing Benjamin on the WWE Draft edition of Raw. A hard-fought battle between the two took place, with Christian defying the odds to regain the WWE Championship... franchise heel John Cena then hit the ring, exercising a clause in his new, improved contract that if the WWE Championship was to ever feature on Raw, Cena would be granted an immediate title shot, and defeated the battle weary Christian for the title in seconds. Never fear for Christian, he was drafted to Raw later in the evening and after another chase won the WWE Championship back from Cena at SummerSlam, now he's heading into WrestleMania still the champion, but woah boy, a lot of fans would NOT have been happy with the way I booked that!

I love the thought of Liger, Johnny Saint, Dynamite Kid, and Rocco being trainers.
In a perfect world, the trainees would end up superstars beyond belief.
(Also, thinking about going TEW. EWR's great, but I'd like to test the waters of TEW.)

In my PWG game, Davey Richards decided pull the old "I'm too big for you company!" BS and refused to renew his contract. This is starting to get annoying.

So, Sheamus became the WHC, and as a heel, this means he needs a stable.
I give him Cesaro, Barrett, and Regal.... The Coat of Arms. Regal and Cesaro are going to win the tag titles. Barrett probably would become IC champ for awhile. Pretty good stable. So... what happens when you push Regal? Coke addiction, duh. Well, I guess Barrett is going to be a tag champion instead. And now Mason Ryan has to get involved. Ugh.

William Regal has kinda been a mentor for younger guys, last mentoring Ted DiBiase before he suffered the dreaded 16 month knee injury. So I'm going to have Regal mentor Cesaro, only to turn heel and side with Barrett, leading to a UK stable involving Paige and Fergal Devitt once they get out of development. And once I trade Sheamus and Drew McIntyre to Smackdown after Wrestlemania, they'll side with Cesaro. Also, don't count Mason Ryan out. I don't know about your game but in mine, he has pretty solid stats. You wouldn't think a team of Mason Ryan and Brodus Clay would put on good matches but they do.

Strangely, I'm focusing more on developmental territories than I am the main roster. I initially had two developmental territories, 'Maximum Impact Wrestling' and 'Impact UK'. I then created 'Impact Japan' and 'Impact Lucha Libre'. I then decided to shut three of them down (change the name and end the relationship), opening two more US ones to create the system I have now. Impact Wrestling Developmental Rosters - TEW 2013 April 2013

How do you insert picture files in EWR 4.2? For some reason I've never been able to successfully do that.

Mine was on TEW, but same basic game so I'll add it.
Brought in Sick Nick Mondo and built him up for over a year, having him going from opener to main event. Ended up putting him a feud with The Miz. Nick Mondo came in and debuted with Lufisto. I also had the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew debut at the same exact time. Eventually I had a feud between MHWC and Lufisto/Portia Perez. Lufisto turned on Perez/Mondo and joined the MHWC. They kicked her out and turned on her after a month and aligned with Nick Mondo. They stayed with him for a year. At the Royal Rumble they turned and cost Nick Mondo his title match with The Miz. This set up the Wrestlemania feud between The Miz (with MHWC) and Nick Mondo (with Lufisto/Portia).
Feud hit Wrestlemania red hot and the match ended up having the only perfect rating I've ever had with Nick Mondo winning the belt in the main event. MHWC defeated Lufisto/Portia on the undercard in the only female feud I've ever had that ended up being a legit main event level feud.

Owner: Mike Rotch Booker: Mike Rotch The sad part is, he's actually the owner of Inter-Species Wrestling. Tempted to insert a player and retire just to get out of that administrative nightmare. Sin City Wrestling will never be taken seriously with Mike Rotch as owner. Oh, who am I kidding. It's excellent. EDIT: Turns out you can't add a player to developmental territories. Oh well, the day after Kevin Sullivan took over as Head Booker. All is not lost... yet.

So, started a DGUSA game, and decided to include women as well (having purchased Shimmer and keeping a good number of women). After a tournament, Sara Del Rey beat Melissa Flash to become the Open The Shimmer Gate Champion, though this was after MsChif and Daffney interfered. Flash brought in The Canadian Ninjas to counter them, and ultimately led to two red-hot fueds that took me to Breaking The World Gate (my WM). The Ninjas won after MsChif abandoned Daffney (leading into another feud) while Del Rey kept her title in a Last Woman Standing match.
Flash, Del Rey, and Portia ended up as main eventers (with Flash at a staggering 96 overall) while MsChif, Daffney, and Nicole ended up upper mid-carders in the 80's.
Pretty shocking to see Melissa Flash over Marufuji, Naruki Doi, Ricochet, and King Devitt as the top face. Del Rey ended up the number two heel behind Great Muta (which is nothing to sneeze at).
I'll keep you guys updated as time goes on. I'm enjoying the nearly-all Japan promotion aspect. (Mainly stick with Toryumon guys, but bring in other talent as well. The Osirian Portal and The Colony are currently tearing it up along with a revamped DojoBros and Up In Smoke).

I'm shamelessly stealing your name for Prince Devitt. Been trying to come up with something different to Prince or Fergal. King is perfect. How did I not think of that?

Any tips on getting TV contracts? I'm playing a 2010 TNA game, and my lower card talent doesn't have much chances with only 1 show. My upper card is great. AJ Styles is a solid champ, I've got a Tyler Black/Chris Hero feud over the TV Title that'll probably push Tyler to the ME with Sting's retirement. My Rock/Lesnar feud's also doing good. I'm thinking of bringing in Austin for some Rock/Brock/Hulk/Austin stuff, but Hogan hates him, apparently. Maybe I'll fire Hogan. It's not like he can put on a good match, anyway.

Go for networks that are well below the highest TV rating that your company can draw and hope for the best. Seriously, there have been times when I've looked for a TV deal for almost a year before lucking out and getting one.
