I've got a 2010 TNA game going, which I haven't played in a bit, but I just did Lockdown. I ended a AJ Styles/Samoa Joe Feud for the title, and a Kurt Angle/Sting feud because Sting's retiring. I also have a Rock vs Hollywood Hogan feud, but they routinely put on ** matches with a 100% crowd rating. I think I'll do a game with a small promotion, and build it up from there. Playing as a small promotion and building up your own "homegrown" stars can be really fun. The last time I attempted it, I made it to Cult level and was all set to have my first PPV ever before I lost interest in the game.

More news for my playthrough in the 2008 scenario: I'm going to try and give a missed opportunity for Hade Vansen, and have him feud with Undertaker when he graduates from FCW, joining Jack Swagger, who graduated in September, and Matt Cappotelli, who moved up in October. Also, I re-hired Sabu for ECW and stole Black Reign from TNA. TNA responded by hiring New Jack. Also, AAA is starting to rise up in image, as they got a new show on Thursdays and hired people like Chris Kanyon and Kaz. Won't be long until they pass RoH, then I can take action towards that company before it goes global. Wish me luck. Matt Hardy and John Morrison are still having an unofficial feud (not put in as a feud yet), and I might have Evan Bourne and The Miz join in for a 2 on 2 feud once a spot opens up. I have Sting, Kurt Angle, Low Ki, AJ Styles and Christian Cage on my shortlist, as I'm hoping any of them are released from TNA for me to hire. Hulk Hogan retired and said he was going to open his own promotion soon. I might get some more competition in the game. Here's what I have for No Mercy in late October so far: 30-Minute Iron Man World Heavyweight ChampionshipShawn Michaels (c) vs Chris Jericho WWE ChampionshipEdge (c) vs Brian Kendrick Stone Cold Steve Austin vs John Bradshaw Layfield Intercontinental ChampionshipKane (c) vs Charlie Haas vs John Cena

Two years ago I started a Backyard to Global. I reached Global level last year and pretty much hung it up, but I discovered it recently and decided to actually try and get to 100%.
Quick run down, I started a fed called Spitfire Wrestling from backyard. When I reached Cult level, I decided to run a story where Hulk Hogan bought into the company and I had to book him on every show (I made him unsackable and gave him creative control) and create a King of the Ring style event named The Hulkamania Cup.
More recently, Smackdown and ECW (who are separate entities) have dropped drastically in popularity, leaving me unopposed to take on RAW. My current major story is Kurt Angle is challenging for my World title, Curt Hawkins has just beaten Reid Flair (managed by Ric) for my midcard belt and a stable of three young men have been called up from development and are running riot over the roster (Rick Steamboat Jr, Callum Kane and Violet). They are alluding to their leader, who has unmasked to reveal himself as former RAW World Champion, Randy Orton.

I really need to get back to my WWE game. I got up to January 2013 and stopped for a while and now real life has caught up to my game. But I have so many other games to play that I forget about EWR.

Just had Miz become my WWE Champ with Punk chasing it towards Wrestlemania. Unfortunately, Ziggler will probably forever be a midcarder in my game for some reason.

I have a couple weeks off from work so figured I'd spend some time playing EWR. I decided to make a game that I will only do for a year in game time to see where I end up. Basically, the goal of the game is to bring back prestige to the NWA. I am starting the game off with only three NWA employees: the real life current heavy champ, women's champ and junior heavyweight champ. I'll post an update later today to let you know how I changed the roster once the actual shows start.

Well, my EWR programming is running screwy, but I can tell you my first show.
The first show is a PPV event named Rebirth. The Pre-Show features an interview with Raven who will be challenging Kahagas in the main event for the NWA World Championship.
The opener is a the first match in a four team one night tournament. The Young Bucks are taking on 3.0 and just squeak out with the win after Nick Jackson pins Shane Matthews.
The second match is a title match featuring El Generico and reigning NWA Junior Heavyweight Champ Chase Owens. Generico gets the win.
Up next is the second match in the one night tournament. The Briscoe Brothers defeat Player Uno and Player Dos.
There is then a four way elimination match for the vacant NWA National Title. David Hart Smith wins the match after last eliminating John Morrison in match also featuring Low Ki and Vampiro
Portia Perez wins the NWA Women's Championship from Kacee Carlise up next.
Kevin Steen then destroys Tommy Dreamer in a wild brawl that goes all over the arena.
In a lengthy and hard fought match the Young Bucks defeat the Briscoes for the NWA World Tag Team Championship.
Raven outsmarts Kahagas in the main event and manages to get the win while working as a face against the heel Kahagas. As soon as the match is over Kevin Steen comes out and starts beating up both tired competitors. Just as he is about to cave in Raven's skull with a chair shot...a battered Tommy Dreamer makes the save and blindslides Steen. Steen gets up and is being held off by other wrestlers just as Raven is coming to. The night ends with Tommy Dreamer giving Raven the belt and the two longtime rivals looks like they could break out into fighting. Their attention then changes simultaneously to look at Steen who is barely being contained and screaming his head off.

Playing as WCW 2000, after a few shaky months at the beginning of the year WCW is firmly back in position as the #1 wrestling promotion in the world (even signing Kane, Chris Jericho, and Big Show away from the WWF), but both companies have had to up their game to 3 primetime shows a week. Anyway earlier in the year I had signed Simon Diamond to a developmental deal and by the time I called him up he was brimming with charisma and talent. He got over quickly and I put him in a mini-program with Bret Hart. I had some big plans for him...until he tore his knee up and is out for 16 months. Sucks to be Simon Diamond. ...and now Kane (I renamed him The Machine) tore up his knee, is out for 16 months, and saw his brawling skills plummet below 70. Also even though I have a public image over 30+ points higher than the WWF, they are kicking my ass in the ratings for some reason. Also it suddenly decided they had better workers than me even though I have Jericho, Guerrero, Benoit, Hart, Storm, etc, etc, etc. In conclusion, I've lost interest in this game scenario. f*** this company.

This thread kinda died, but it makes me think of a funny thing I did in my EWR game. I wanted to do a big heel John Cena vs. Taker feud for the spring and maybe into the summer (if Taker doesn't retire since he's working full-time)... and give the Miz a push + a Chris Jericho First Unified Champ moment, something that never can be taken away from them... So, anyways, the Miz faced 'Taker at WM, and heel John Cena (who is loosely connected to the Miz) did the heeliest thing he could ever do... interfered in the match and caused Miz to end the streak.

For no reason at all, just earlier today, in a WCW 2000 scenario, I made Randy Savage win the WCW World title from Sting, then lose it to Hulk Hogan, and then have Sting win it back, all on the same night on Thunder! To be fair, it did get Thunder a high rating, sorta getting it almost up to SmackDown's level And then I had Randy Savage beat the crap out of Vince Russo, who, in kayfabe, did the booking for the above Thunder event, and then later, Ric Flair won the World title from Sting. That was the only time so far I have done some crazy booking in EWR. Maybe, in the 2008 scenario I'm doing, I could get Hade Vansen to win a World title.

And now I am going to steal Triple H and Big Boss Man away from WWF in my WCW 2000 simulation. I am going to give them some big pushes in the near future.
