Alright, got back into EWR for the first time in months and booked up to Royal Rumble 2013. Here's the results: Zack Ryder wins a pre-show battle royale full of other guys who lost qualifying matches to win a spot in the Royal Rumble later tonight. The Street Rat Pack (Sami Callihan and Dean Ambrose) d Sheamus and Drew McIntyre to WIN the WWE Tag Team titles when Hornswoggle turns heel on Sheamus and Drew. (Note: This match had a 99% Match Quality) Raven officially inducts Hornswoggle into The Flock, which now consists of Raven, Sami Callihan, Dean Ambrose, Corey Graves and Hornswoggle. AJ d Trish Stratus to retain the Divas title with Kaitlyn's help. Natalya runs out for the save. John Cena Promo R-Truth d Randy Orton to retain the World title when Guest Referee and Smackdown GM Mick Foley makes a fast count. Orton RKO's Foley. CM Punk promo. The story with this was that he was going into the Rumble injured thanks to Kane and that he's not 100% but still plans on winning. The Miz d John Cena to retain the WWE title by cheating and running away. (Note: Got a 100% Crowd Reaction so the Rumble match itself ended up being a "letdown".) CM Punk wins the Royal Rumble, last eliminating Daniel Bryan who won last year's Rumble. I'll put the stats determined by the game in spoiler tags: Order of Entry: {Spoiler}Dolph Ziggler, Booker T, Kane, Christian, Giant Bernard, Nick Rogers, Derrick Bateman, Alberto Del Rio, Santino Marella, Ryback, Xavier Woods, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, Sin Cara, Seth Black, Antonio Cesaro, Evan Bourne, Zack Ryder, Alex Riley, Ricardo Rodriguez, Kofi Kingston, CM Punk, Joseph Mercury, Kevin Thorn, Gangrel, Silas Black, William Regal, Raven.
Notes: Seth Black = Seth Rollins. Silas Black = Ultramantis Black. Booker T, Raven, Joseph Mercury, Kevin Thorn and Gangrel were the "surprise" entrants with having just signed Thorn and Gangrel. Order of Elimination: {Spoiler}Dolph Ziggler by Kane Booker T by Christian Kane by Christian Giant Bernard by Christian Nick Rogers by Derrick Bateman Derrick Bateman by Ryback Ryback by Christian Xavier Woods by Santino Marella Cody Rhodes by Christian Justin Gabriel by Christian Alberto Del Rio by Ricardo Rodriguez Ricaro Rodriguez by Kofi Kingston Sin Cara by Christian Christian by Daniel Bryan Kevin Thorn by Kofi Kingston Wade Barrett by Silas Black Alex Riley by Raven Evan Bourne by William Regal Xavier Woods by Antonio Cesaro Gangrel by William Regal Antonio Cesaro by Silas Black Kofi Kingston by Seth Black Silas Black by Daniel Bryan Raven by Zack Ryder Seth Black by William Regal Joseph Mercury by CM Punk Zack Ryder by William Regal William Regal by Daniel Bryan Daniel Bryan by CM Punk
Christian gets the most Eliminations with 7, followed by Regal with 4. Thought it was funny that Punk eliminated Mercury and Ricardo eliminated Del Rio. Also, Bryan eliminated Christian after having lost a feud-ending Cage match on the Smackdown before the Rumble. And we got that markout moment from the 2011 Royal Rumble with Punk vs Bryan vs Regal, only in the final 3. And somehow, Zack Ryder was in the Final 4.

And here's an end of the month summary for January 2013:
-Released Hunico due to low morale after the Royal Rumble. He had good stats but I had no place to use him regularly and I'm trying to trim the roster as it is. -James Bronson, Jamin Olivencia, Green Ant and Matt Martlaro will be promoted to the main roster soon. -The first 10 graduates of the training school have been sent to FCW. -Pat Patterson has retired from WWE. I guess Gerald Brisco is the head agent now as his face pops up in the news feed. -Kurt Angle has retired from TNA and announced plans on running a new promotion. I'd like to see this. -WDW has gone Global while CZW has gone bankrupt.
Oh yeah, also Kevin Thorn and Gangrel are a face tag team called "Bite Club". They got beaten by the Street Rat Pack and given a Blood Bath by The Flock.
Also, could use some name ideas for a full-time Santino/Bateman tag team.

1998 WCW. I'm at 100% for a couple of months. The ratings are getting "a little interesting" on Mondays (ratings now within a point), but I still hold a huge advantage on Thursdays. Was also able to get my graveyard Saturday Night show moved to prime time and I'm doing quite well.
I personally think Saturdays are my best show because I'm using a lot of unheralded talent. Ernest Miller, Norman Smiley, Hugh Morrus, plus I have a stable called the Roundtable. (Michael Wallstreet, Lord Steven Regal, Meng, Crash Holly, Fit Finlay, and a couple of other guys.)
Eric Bischoff is the GM and he signed "exclusive" deals with the Dudley Boyz (WCW Tag champs), Kevin Nash, Rick Steiner and some other guys.
Curt Hennig is happy to be working steadily and his morale issues are gone. (My first success story without having to release a guy.) Both he and Goldberg want to feud with Hugh Morrus. The guy Hugh is feuding with (Rick Steiner, the WCW King of Saturday Nights) isn't showing a lot of fire, despite demanding the feud.
Wrath is doing angles where he's trying to impress Dawn Marie.
Edge, Glacier & John Nord were all called up from developmental. Edge was plugged back in to team with Christian, with Lita (another call-up) as their valet. They are making a run at the Dudleys for the tag belts.
(Only thing I'd like about this game better is the ability to make another set of tag belts. My roster could really use them; I got at least 10 regular tag teams.)

No matter what I do, I can't get Ryback over. His stats aren't that bad, but his over is stuck in the mid 50's, and he can't have the "breakthrough" match that normally takes a wrestler into the low 80s. Cesaro agreed to job to him without complaining, so I figured, "good, this is the match"... then the "off show" bug kicks in and the match rating is absolute shit.

Here's my Elimination Chamber card for my recently-started 2013 scenario.
Pre-Show Brock Lesnar calls out Undertaker for a match at WrestleMania
#1 Contendership for the Tag Team Championships on the line on Raw after EC 3MB (represented by Slater and McIntyre) vs Prime Time Players (Young and O'Neal) vs Masked Wonders (Mysterio and Cara) vs The Usos
WWE Divas Championship Eve Torres (c) vs Natalya
WWE United States Championship Antonio Cesaro (c) vs Jack Swagger Notes: Swagger returned and began feuding with Cesaro, becoming a face in the process, and defended America against Cesaro, promising to win the title off his waist.
Interview with Punk on the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship.
World Heavyweight Championship Alberto Del Rio (c) vs Dolph Ziggler Notes: Dolph Ziggler decided to cash in on the World Heavyweight Champion in advance, by challenging Alberto Del Rio to a match at Elimination Chamber.
The winning stable wins both the Intercontinental Championship and the Tag Team Championships The Re-Enforcements (Ryback/Orton/Bryan/Kane) (Hell No are Tag Champs) vs The Shield (Ambrose/Rollins/Reigns/Barrett) (Barrett is IC Champ) Notes: Wade Barrett was hired by The Shield as a bodyguard around at the Royal Rumble, as I "booked" it, even though I started on Feburary
Elimination Chamber (Elimination Fatal-4-Way) Winner moves on to face the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 29 Kane vs Zack Ryder vs Christian vs The Miz Notes: The four of these superstars won qualification matches on SmackDown.
Elimination Chamber (Elimination Fatal-4-Way) WWE Championship The Rock (c) vs CM Punk vs Chris Jericho vs Big Show Notes: Jericho and Big Show won qualification matches on Raw.
How's my card?

Trying to get back into TEW 10 right now by playing as PWG starting in Jan. 2013. Right now, The Dojo Bros (Eddie Edwards & Roderick Strong) are the Tag Team champs after winning DDT4. Also, Kevin Steen decided to big time me and not renew his contract, claiming that he was "too big" for the company. What a douche.

Dammit, I was screwing around with TNA, driving up Bully Ray's price, and they blinked. Now I have him for 3 years. And they turn around and sign Austin (who I cut before I started the game), who can't work, but the calculator that determines wars probably doesn't consider that. Basically just freed up the money for them to do that.

Okay, so this is what I did for Elimination Chamber '13:
PTP beat Cara/Mysterio, 3MB and Usos to face the Tag Champs next Monday
Natalya beat Eve to win the Divas title
Swagger beat Cesaro to win the US title
Del Rio beat Ziggler to retain the WH title
Re-Enforcements beat Shield to retain the tag titles and win the IC title
Miz beat Kane, Christian and Ryder to gain an opportunity at the WH title
Rock beat Punk, Big Show and Jericho to retain the WWE title thanks to Royal Rumble winner John Cena (never actually did the Rumble, just made it up for the story)
So, my WrestleMania line up will most likely include these matches:
Rock vs Cena vs Punk
Lesnar vs Taker - Last Man Standing
Del Rio vs Miz vs Ziggler
Ryback representing the Re-Enforcements vs Barrett representing the Shield - Losing stable disbands
Natalya/Stratus vs Eve and another diva, probably a rehired wrestler

UGH! More of my guys are leaving. In addition to Steen, I've lost Eddie Edwards (who didn't even drop the tag titles before leaving), The Amazing Red, and I'm about to lose Kyle O' Riley. Admittedly, Red and O'Riley leaving is my fault since I'm a cheap asshole and don't feel like paying them what they think they are worth. For f***s' sake, O'Riley wanted a run with a mid-card title. PWG doesn't have a mid-card belt and I wasn't about to make one just to accommodate him!
On the upside, thanks to his work in ROH, Cole (the PWG Champ) is one of the most over guys in the company. Also, Sami Calihan is starting to catch fire and is now a bonafide main eventer.

I am currently working on a custom scenario that includes celebrities and cartoon/anime/TV/video game/comic/etc. characters included in several promotions, such as the infamous Story Mode Federation and the ever-popular Hogan vs. Flair fan-fed. It also includes a couple of other promotions fanmade by me, including Heroic Wrestling, which features mostly comic and gaming characters, Toonville Wrestling Entertainment, a company with mostly cartoon characters, and a promotion featuring the hilarious and rememberable CAWs from New Legacy Inc.

Ever planned to book something that you know would have pissed off a bunch of people in real life? For my WWE 2010 game, I was planning on having a storyline where Christian remained ECW Champion, as the brand continued to exist, became a Tweener and formed a faction with Chris Jericho and a debuting Wade Barrett that was formed to prove ECW deserved more respect. It would eventually culminate in a Triple Threat Title match (WWE, WHC & ECW all on the line) at Survivor Series with Christian finally winning the WWE title by pinning the Champion, John Morrison. After half a minute later, Miz would have then cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and would then win the WWE Championship from Christian. Christian would then lose the rematch and go onto lose the ECW Championship to Wade Barrett to put the latter over.
Considering the reaction some had to Orton beating Christian for the title, I think something like this would have probably provoked an even stronger one.
