The silver lining in this is that we can get more awesome BIG ZEKE AIN'T GOT NO CUTS promos from PTP.

Hmm...they release him and he instantly starts throwing them under the bus for not appreciating his 'getting over' with his own abilities.
Nice job burning a bridge, AW. If they were releasing him due to complaints, chances are he'd be back eventually ala Daniel Bryan. Don't worry about that now, though.

Damn this really sucks hard. Say what you want about his rape joke but jesus christ you have got to be kidding me. You want to fine or suspend him, go ahead. But to release the guy?
I really hope this turns into a Daniel Bryan situation where he does eventually come back. But if not, then Linda McMahon can go to hell.

PC speech police strike again. Yes, because we all know how Vince McMahon loves political correctness. (TW, link contains racism.) More likely he was just seen as a liability for making the kind of jokes that could get them in trouble in the sense of both PR and possibly legal troubles with those involved in the case. But I can't really be too upset about this either way. Rape isn't funny. The Prime Time Players can get along perfectly fine without being compared to rapists.

Let's be honest,he was a manager in the WWE of a tag team in the WWE.He already had two strikes against him.

Lol..I loved this guy but he should have known better than to tweet about Linda. This is too bad; another death blow to the tag division and real managers.

He'd disappear for a few months and return but his ego has blown that to hell and back.

The PG era is like... you know the rest. Shame, though. I was really entertained by AW and the PTPs.

Damn it. AW was awesome, and I was starting to enjoy the Prime Time Players as much as my favorite old school tag teams.
I don't condone the remark that got the guy fired, nor him nuking the bridge on the way out, but I'm still disappointed that one of the best acts in the company is apparently no more.

The Prime Time Players will hopefully do fine without him. They were getting over with the "millions of dollars" and "Zeke ain't got no cuts" before he showed up. In fact, their matches will be more watchable without him squawking in the background.

Flip AW and you get VM. Since that's Vince McMahon's initials, welcome to your TNA gimmick, Abe.
"I'm VM of VM Industries...We're afraid to take chances, so we better stick to status quo and not rock the boat...whoaaaa! Did you say pigeons? Do you know what that implies?! Don't do that! We at VM Industries don't appreciate that!"

If he was to get released, he'd probably show back up again in a couple of months, probably after Linda's campaign. To have this whole rant on Twitter is just stupid.

Welp, thanks for being one of the few interesting things on Raw AW. I think the PTP can do it without AW, but AW was great in his role.

I won't miss him. As Abraham Washington he was awful and annoying. As AW he was annoying and awful. Good riddance.

I don't know if he burned the bridge or not. Its too early to tell. People tend to think that the minute you say something that even remotely detracts the value of WWE, you burned your bridge. Its too hard to tell, he just spoke how he felt. Its not like he went on an hour long RF Shoot talking trash about Michael Hayes and Kevin Dunn. It looks like a heat of the moment thing. Every human being has that.

I'm so sad that an average speaking, vacant hole of charisma got himself fired. There is a high demand for lame managers all over the world.
