I could try to make my topic a little clearer if I could. Here's what I mean: What movies of a particular franchise did you see all or most in theaters? Here are the ones I can think of: -Nolan's Batman series (All 3 in theaters) -Men In Black (All 3 in theaters) -The Hangover (Both of them in theaters and it will likely be 3 for 3 when the third one comes out) -Home Alone (Saw all 3, but I only consider the first two to be the actual films while the third is only a sequel in name only) -The Fast and The Furious (Only saw 1, 2, and 5, though I wanted to see 4 in theaters but didn't get to, and 6 is probably likely that I will see it) -Rush Hour (Only 1 and 2)
These are the only ones that I can think of right now.

- If the Marvel Cinematic Universe counts as a franchise, then I saw all of the standalone hero movies, plus The Avengers in theatres. - Spider-Man 1 & 3 (yes, it's true....) in the theatres. - The Nolan Batman movies, I only saw Dark Knight and Rises in the theatres.

Nolan's Batman series is the only one I've seen completely in theaters. I tend to wait with most movies when they come out, usually to wait till the home format.

Transformers Spider-Man X-Men
I've also seen all of the Avengers-based films, if they count as 1 giant franchise.

I just remembered some more that I forgot to mention: -Transformers (Only 1 and 3) -Jurassic Park (Only 1 and 2) -90s Batman (As far as I can remember, just 2 and 4) -Friday (Only 2 and 3, though if the fourth one gets made, I will see it) -The Mighty Ducks (1 and 2) -The Matrix (Only the first one and Reloaded)
I do plan to see The Expendables 2, which I also saw the first in theaters.

The closest I've gotten to seeing a whole franchise in theaters is the Jurassic Park trilogy, I had to leave halfway through The Lost World. Other than that I've seen Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises in theaters.
