I'd be more excited but I really couldn't care less about Daredevil.

The guy who wanted the project at Fox has released his pitch videos: uk.ign.com/articles/2012/08/15/watch-the-sizzle-reels-for-the-dead-daredevil-filmIn terms of if Marvel would pick him and his ideas up, I say no, not right now. Doesnt fit the general tone of the previous Marvel films, and I doubt it's a direction they are looking to go in at the moment, while the family friendly superhero bubble is still going strong. One that bursts, and people have started to forget about the Nolan Batman films (due to DC rebooting them), then Marvel might move to a more Marvel Knights range of films with this, Punisher and Ghost Rider etc. That way they dont damage their current family brand, nor can they get called copy cats for trying to do a Marvel version of a Nolan superhero film this soon after those have ended.

I wonder if they'll bring back Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin. He did do surprisingly well in that role and i cant see anyone in Hollywood who physically resembles kingpin (the imdb page claims they hired several wrestlers to try the role, but none of them worked out, so i doubt they'd give them another shot). They could use this fella. He's a British actor who actually played the role in the movie Ninja Assassin as a large bald guy named(believe it or not) Kingpin. Those pre trailers actually use footage of him from the Ninja Assassin movie. They actually have the whole fight scene from the movie on youtube, but they make you sign in to watch it, due to the excessive violence(if you would like to watch it, here it is, but like I said, you have to have an account)

I liked the NYC dynamic Daredevil had with other heroes. Most recently, Punisher/Spider-Man/Daredevil. That was fan-f***ing-tastic. A peppered in reference to the FF. Written by Rucka and Waid. Mmmmm.
Sadly, with almost all properties pieced out amongst like 10 different studios, I don't know.

I'd be interested in a Marvel Knights film. Probably without Blade, but definitely Punisher, DD, Moon Knight and some of the others.

He wont get a new movie. They might use him for a TV property though. I've been saying it for years, Daredevil would make a phenomenal weekly TV series. It'd be like Law & Order meets Batman.

Maybe it's just me, but I think if Marvel makes a Daredevil movie, they should do a modified story of Daredevil: Reborn as a way of re-introducing Daredevil. There are a few story arcs for Daredevil I like, but Born Again IMO would have too many similarities on the big screen to Dark Knight Rises. Without Fear would kind of look like the new Dredd movie, Guardian Devil would be hit or miss, and Shadowland wouldn't work as a first movie.
Yes I realize Reborn takes place after Shadowland, thus I said a variation

They can have Daredevil crossover into other Marvel films. He was apart of Shield and the New Avengers. So I imagine they'll probably place into some sort of Marvel/Disney production very well.
Plus given that the Oscorp building was going to appear in Avengers, it's looking likely that Spidey will be crossing over into their film as well.

as a big Daredevil fan I'm going to say I have zero interest in seeing him cross over with the Avengers or whatever. the mood of his stories is almost irreconcilable with big giant alien invasion stories. he's a character who works best on his own, even moreso than Spider-man. part of the reason why "Born Again" worked was because Daredevil's an outsider. the recent crap with him joining the Avengers in the comics is just as dumb as Spider-man and Wolverine being on the team.

Wait, doesn't this mean Marvel still doesn't have Galactus and Silver Surfer? Cause they were offering more Daredevil time in exchange for renting those two.
Cause I would love to see a Marvel movie with those two, couldn't give two shits about the blind guy with the power to see.

Daredevil has always been one of my favorite books, so as long as it's made and made well...I don't really care who makes it. Although, I do like it at Marvel because of the crossover possibilities.
