Ghost Rider has been a part of a few teams as well (Champions, Midnight Sons, Heroes for Hire)
It's inevitable in comics. If you're in the same universe, you'll form or join a team at some point as long as you're popular enough (and often times, even if you aren't).

Blade was a member of the EXTREME 90s team the Nightstalkers, joined an Initiative team called the Vanguard (and by extension was an agent of SHIELD for a bit) and became a member of MI:13 with Captain Britain and Black Knight, plus wasn't he a Midnight Son at some point? I wouldn't say those are mainstream teams ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Midnight Sons was a big deal at the time, they had more books than X-Men at one point.

Not really a super hero... "Watchers can augment their strength with cosmic psionic energy if they choose to; however, they tend to minimize their physical activities. The 1985 edition of the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe compared Uatu's scale of power to that of Galactus, the Stranger, Odin, and Zeus." -Wikipedia"Uatu is the Watcher assigned to watch over Earth from his home in the Blue Area of the Moon. He is an altruist and has bent or violated his oath on numerous occasions in order to aid humanity. He revealed himself to the Fantastic Four when they discovered his home, telling them he would leave the Moon to observe humanity from a more distant area.[7] He proceeeded to violate his oath several more times to aid the Fantastic Four.[8][9][10] His most notable transgression was in Fantastic Four #48, in which he tried, and failed, to prevent the Silver Surfer from bringing the world-devourer Galactus to the Earth.[11] For his continuous disregard for the Watchers' mission, Uatu is once placed on trial by the Watchers. He is found guilty, but is released on his own recognizance.[12] When the Shi'ar seek to prosecute Mister Fantastic for saving Galactus' life, Uatu serves as his lawyer.[13] Uatu is removed from his duty as Watcher of the Earth, but he returns to observe the world he has become so fond of.[14] " -Wikipedia again It might be just me, but I think we have a winner.

What about Ghost Rider? I've never read much about him, but he does seem like the type who would work better on his own than on a team. Fantastic Four as well.

This is why I like pre-2000s Marvel (heck, pre-1995 even). I believe there are some doors that should NEVER be opened. I liked characters' distinctions and separations from each other. It made stuff like Secret Wars and brief crossovers all the more memorable.

Yeah, just you. The Watcher isn't a superhero. He's a watcher. I think calling him a superhero is a bit of a stretch, yeah, but he steps well outside of his watcher duties so I can understand the argument. That said, it's rarely him using his powers directly, and more that he will try to send heroes in the right direction. That said, stuff like the Christmas Spider-Man story shows that he can be pretty damn heroic in his own way.

Ah, but even though the Hulk was only a member of the Avengers for two issues (if that) he's still counted as being a member of that team. Even though Uatu is currently "fired" from the Watchers, he was at one point, a member of that "team." Again though, despite him doing some very good things for Earth and its people, I just can't count Uatu as a super hero. He doesn't fight crime. He doesn't really give any direct answers or help (like "Mr. Fantastic, you'll need the ultimate nullifer to beat Galactus...let me teleport it directly to you with my powers...there...alright, ready...aim...")

The Watchers aren't a team, they're an alien race. I don't consider all of us a team, even though we're all human.
Well, most of us are human.

Well, most of us are human. *gives a quizzical look to Banjo* They've always been kind of a race and a group/team at the same time. Even so, Watcher could also be considered a member of the "cosmic beings" group/team.

looks like even Punisher might be joining the Avengers (or at least one of their many branches) so I guess none of them. fair enough, none of DC's classic 'verse ever stayed out of a team for long either (New 52 has some but give it time and I'm sure Grifter will be paling around with Superman on some team or other ![:))](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cheesy.png)

Uatu is definitely the worst watcher of all time. "I must only watch, never interfere. Except when I interfere." How does he still have a job?
