Apparently they take issue with listing someone like Giant Gonzalez in the WCW section if he was called El Gigante there instead. A rather sloppy job so far.

Looks like they left out a lot of the big heavyweights. They left out Akeem (One Man Gang), Big Boss Man (Bubba Rogers, Ray Traylor, Guardian Angel, the Boss), Earthquake (Avalanche, Shark, John Tenta) and Tugboat (Shockmaster, Uncle Fred) out of the WCW section as well. I can kind of understand leaving out Barry Darsow/Blacktop Bully since he is included in the Alumni section solely as Smash.

They also left out Ultimate Warrior (The Warrior), Brutus Beefcake (The Butcher, Booty Man, The Disciple, Zodiac), and Crush (Brian Adams).

Wow, interesting to read that he still competes in Mexico. I would have thought he was retired now. He's 42, I guess that isn't so bad.

Here's an Alumni Page note: WWE originally featured Akeem as the selectable image for George Gray, but now they have changed it to One Man Gang. You can still see the Akeem profile picture by clicking on the actual superstar page. This may be because they added One Man Gang to the WCW section. Who knows? Maybe they felt the Akeem character is offensive in 2013.

Also, they have added more Alumni to the WCW page that they originally left out. It still doesn't have Smash and Tugboat.

I am guessing the change has more to do with George Gray and respect for his legacy. He has a chapter on the new Mid-South dvd dedicated to him and did spend the majority of his career under the name one man gang. Also come next year, he might be considered for HoF induction. Helped by the fact that he lives in Louisiana.

You may be right.

On a similar note, WWE Alumni section changed 'Sean Waltman' to X-Pac and changed his 1-2-3 Kid profile picture to X-Pac. This makes sense. I always thought it was weird that they used the name Sean Waltman and a 1-2-3 Kid profile pic.

Alphabetically, Adam Bomb gets to be listed first on the Alumni page. I noticed they didn't include him in the WCW Alumni section and didn't mention him being Wrath or Bryan Clark of Kronik. I'd argue that his biggest runs were as Wrath and Bryan Clark in WCW.

I believe he's the only man to be included twice. Others have multiple profile pics (like Akeem and One Man Gang), but John Tenta's the only one that's included twice, though Kurrgan was chosen to be the selectable image for the Oddities. Steve Lombardi almost counts since he has played Doink, but I think the profile pic of Doink is of Ray Apollo. Luna COULD have been included as well, but she has her own profile.

I could see WWE adding Repo Man as a separate profile for Darsow.
