Dana White is once again full of it. I can name a hit show SpikeTV created...The Ultimate Fighter...which helped make the UFC a big deal.
If anybody remembers, Dana was opposed to making a reality show for the UFC. It was Spike's idea and they pushed for it despite opposition from Dana.
Spike had tons to do with the UFC becoming what they were. They gave them hours and hours of coverage with archive shows, reality shows, countdown shows, and live events. They dedicated their entire network to the UFC even when the UFC was in the dark ages. Dana seems to think Spike are assholes for bringing in a company that was in the red at the time and giving them hours and hours of coverage. What vultures.

I used to enjoy Dana's "don't give a f***" attitude that made him famous but recently he's been pretty pathetic. Dude needs to learn some control.

You can't be all "Don't give a f***" when reality is staring you right in the face.

Oh, man, the slow descent into madness for Dana here is beautiful. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Luke Rockhold and Sara McMann are out of their November Strikeforce fights for the event once headlined by Cormier vs. Mir. Those three fights gone leaves the event, which is only three weeks away, with two fights on the card.
Couple that with the recent cancellation of the other event and I'd say it's about time to pull the plug on Strikeforce.

Those aren't fun times for MMA fans. I don't like it one bit. The Strikeforce/Showtime situation, the multitude of injuries in the UFC, and now, Jason Miller is losing his grip on reality.
The deal with FOX, well, i'll give it some more time...

Well Showtime refused to air the last show after it lost its main event so we'll see what happens to this show if they don't find good replacement fights. Almost makes me wonder if Zuffa is purposely dragging their feet on finding Cormier a new opponent. I mean, I know they asked Mitrione but couldn't they have found someone else by now? Other fighters have already said they'd step up. What's going on?

I was really looking forward to Rockhold vs. McMann.

Demarcus Johnson took a fight on two weeks notice (after a person had taken the fight on short notice and then backed out, making him the SECOND SHORT NOTICE guy), lost, and was cut by the UFC. Admittedly, he showed up overweight but he also was KO'd by Mike Swick one daggone month ago and was basically coerced into the fight by Joe Silva if interviews (Pre-Release) with Johnson are to be believed.
Gee, I wonder why people are turning down fights or pulling out due to any type of injury that occurs.

Well I'm pretty sure if Johnson had made 175 and not come in so over weight he wouldn't had been released.

Jon Fitch was recently interviewed and brought up the Hendricks fight, stating he fought hurt.
Also, Jake Shields was busted for a prohibited substance and suspended for 6 months. I haven't seen a report naming the substance.

How long until Dana has to cancel Christmas because Santa got injured in training and they couldn't get anyone to step up as a replacement?

Haha, pulling Sonnen from his Forrest fight because they need what little credibility he has left to remain.
Edit: @damonmartin Well hold on. Anthony Pettis just posted this on FB: "Can't catch a break injuries f***ing suck!!!". Timing of these things
Bummer for Pettis.

So much not to like about this news. A few people here will blow a gasket or two. Meh, Jones recently said that he'd been rethinking giving Sonnen a shot for the fans who want to see it. www.mmaweekly.com/jon-jones-opening-up-to-the-possibility-of-facing-chael-sonnen-nextI don't see much of an issue with it if both guys are on board. Sonnen on TUF should be fun to watch, as will his eventual destruction at the hands of Jones. It will also give time for the rankings in the LHW division to settle and figure out who gets Jones next.

So Sonnen goes from getting finished by Anderson Silva to being finished by Jon Jones. Honestly, I can't wait.
