I don't really like complaining against cell phone companies even though I've yet to find one that isn't a waste of money, but Virgin Mobile has a special place in society as the one cell phone company that sucks FAR more than the rest. I understand it's a prepaid company, but surely you'd think something owned by Sprint would be decent. Does anyone use a Virgin Mobile device, and if so how is it for you?

Because Richard Branson is too busy windsurfing with nude supermodels to worry about your phone.
Nevermind, skipped the part where Sprint owns Virgin Mobile USA, not Virgin Group.

I have 2 Virgin Mobile phones I use. Don't really have any problems aside from occasionally poor signals.
I've been with them long enough that I still have the $25 a month plan. But it does suck that when I decide to upgrade to a new android phone, I won't be able to keep thatlan. even though I was able to keep it back when I upgraded to my Triumph.

I think that only applies to phones that come out after a certain date. There's one phone that counts so far: the Optimus Elite. The next one everyone's expecting is the REAL reason for the change: The Evo V that comes out on Thursday and runs on Sprint's WiMax 4G.

My only problem with them is that they tend to block LGBT content as 'adult related' when I try to access them through my phone's browser. Otherwise, they're much more reliable and helpful than Orange.

I massively prefer my old Virgin deal to my current Orange deal. Loss of signal, random excess billing despite always checking what I have on my contract and the best bit *logs onto online account*:
"You have an overdue balance of £0.00. Until the outstanding balance has been paid online access to this account will be restricted to making a payment and viewing your bills."
DAMN MY DIRECT DEBIT FOR PAYING THEM! I must pay back that £0.00 defecit immediately.
Yeah, mobiles suck.

I'm with them and I can't complain that much...$25 monthly plan, unlimited everything except minutes (200...which is more than I need in a month anyway).
Signal can be iffy...

My in-laws have it and they love it. My contract's up with Verizon in Nov and I think I'm switching to Virgin. I pay $110 a month for my wife and I's dumb phones. My in-laws pay $50 a line for 5GB data, unlimited text and 750 talk min.
