The problem is that Marvel Films doesn't have access to Wolverine and likely does not have access to Psylocke, either, as she is part of the X-Men franchise.

Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) would be my pick.
Songbird could be an interesting movie, maybe combine with Luke Cage.

She-Hulk. And she teams up with Howard the Duck, making it the best movie ever.
Maybe even have Howard Ride on her shoulders like Master Blaster

Like I said when this was first posted: Why would this girl decide to wait 5 years until after the show (not modelled after the actual Teen Titan)s ended to try the comics and then complain the show that wasn't the same as the comics wasn't the same as the comics? How is that DC's fault? THEY MADE A COMIC BASED OFF THE SHOW. It was called Teen Titans Go. It ran for nearly 5 years, and stuck around until 2008, two years after the show was cancelled DC TRIED to do something for fans of the show, they can hardly be blamed for fans of that show waiting a full five years after Teen Titans was cancelled to bother looking it up and then not being happy with finding out that the comic versions - which weren't the same as the show even back when Teen Titans was on - are different. This is Lucy's fault for not supporting things she likes, not DC's because she waited a full five years to do anything about it. DC tried to embrace the new audience for Starfire and Raven and Beast Boy with Teen Titans Go, but Lucy didn't give a damn about it then, but we're supposed to feel bad about it now? No thanks. As for this poll, I vote anybody who doesn't already have ties to an existing hero. Widow makes the most sense though, sicne she can star in a decent action flick very easily.

The loss of the Rogue connection /does/ hurt the character, especially since the Marcus ordeal will likely never happen either, but they could easily make-do without it. the less said about THAT story the better IMO. I still have no idea who thought that was a good idea.

/\ not to get too off-topic, but you owe it to yourself to check out the original team. they're re-releasing it as Thunderbolts Classic and the first 2 are already available, the third one's coming out in July. it's easily the best version of the book (though I do like the dark-n-edgy stuff Warren Ellis did, too)

Now they're re-released I'll hunt em down, Thanks

I think Ms Marvel could carry a movie, But have her cameo in another movie (ala Hawkeye & BW) so people can get the character.
I'm not a big reader of She-Hulk so I don't know her character well.

Does Marvel have any female led titles? I know DC's got Wonder Woman and Voodoo, but I'm having a hard time coming up with anything for Marvel at this point.
They could make an X-23 movie work. Like Hanna + Wolverine.

Like Hanna + Wolverine. they're realy tough sells. most of Marvel's female heroes are better known as part of teams. Spider-woman had a solo series written by Bendis no less that lasted like... I want to say 7 issues, and Black Widow had a series that got turned into connected mini-series released intermitently rather than an ongoing. Ms. Marvel had a series that went about 50-60 issues but due to poor writing never really established itself as a must-read (though the art was often great, especially for the short period where Sana Takeda did it). She-Hulk actually had a somewhat successful cult-classic ongoing handled by Dan Slott and then Peter David, but it was cancelled in favor of introducing a new, much less interesting character to the role (part of Jeph Loeb's idiotic "scorched earth" take on the series) who lasted like 2 minis before Marvel realized that people only wanted to read about Jennifer. so maybe some day she'll get another one, but she's not even a ppart of anything right now because Marvel would rather write about Red She-Hulk (whose at least an interesting character and DID serve as an excuse to bring back Betty Banner, to be fair).

No doubt if any of these gals would be put to film I'm sure we would be blessed with another Elektra, Catwoman or Supergirl.

They should do a Spider Woman movie, if only to rustle Sonys jimmies a bit, and more than likely make a superior "spider" movie. ![](http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f352/erisi236/sw.jpg) ? ![](http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lfpdyeWb4P1qz5y5go1_500.jpg)

The Jessica Jones TV show is going to take place in the cinematic universe.
So, it would stand to reason that it could be a great launching point for Ms Marvel.
But personally, I want to very much see a She-Hulk movie, complete with 4th wall breaking banter.

Ms Marvel is getting a new one soon, Although she's going to be renamed Captain Marvel. Which will probably fail, because Marvel never give new books a chance if they dont do huge numbers. Look at her last book, Ms Marvel. It was doing steady, but quite low numbers and it still got axed. Why? Giving her the name of a long dead character wont make people care more. If anything, considering the fan base that Mar-Vell has with the more fanatic comic book fans, it is more likely to hurt her in those circles. She still stands the most chance of being Marvel's biggest solo female hero, but without Captain Marvel, you dont really have an origin for her, and considering the Avengers post credit spoiler, if things are going more cosmic in Marvel's future, then there isn't really a reason not to. The whole thing with the DC character is also a moot point nowadays, considering the DC have even renamed the character and dropped the whole Marvel thing from him.
