NEW CHAMP! Well, it was clear who was going to be the next champ (hint: Tajiri was praising the heck out of her for a while) I just didn't expect it so soon.

Didn't really make much sense to have her win a tournament to get the belt, then lose it to her first legit challenger (c'mon, no way was Aki Shizuku going to win).

Maybe Tajiri thought Kana didn't need the belt to be over, but Nakagawa probably did?

NEW CHAMP! Normally i would be okay with this just because Tomoka Nakagawa won the belt, but Finlay wins the Heavyweight title on the same freakin' show, and that makes me feel like both tournaments were just a waste of time.

Kana is certainly one of the best, but Nakagawa is out of this world.

I have to be honest. I'm not impressed by Tomoka Nakagawa at all. She's very generic. I react to her about the same as, say, Hanako Nakamori. She's just...there.

I find her to be the most entertaining of the joshi wrestlers who have come to the U.S. over the past couple years, because of her heel personality mixed with solid wrestling.

The Pink Ladies do Calvin Harris/Kanye West... then again, this was 2008 when those shades were cool.

Ayumi Kurihara just won the CMLL Women's Title from Marcela at her own event in Tokyo today. That's Bull Nakano presenting her with the belt.

I don't get WRP. ...but part of me thinks that's the point. It's supposed to a "new modern-age" pro wrestling show that will go on for 13 episodes. All the storylines are presented as Shakespearian 3-Part arc where they connect at the end. I can't wait to see what it all is. Also, can someone PM me some spoilers about WRP?

Sounds very interesting. Any idea when it'll be out? And how it'll be out? I'm guessing not on TV.

It'll stream on Justin.tv & will have DVDs. Only premiere date so far is Spring 2012.
