As the title states, which stable do you think was the most talented from top to bottom in wrestling history?
I'm split between the Four Horsemen and Kaientai DX. Everyone knows how great the majority of the members from the Horsemen were (Paul Roma and Mongo kinda dragging the stable down) while Kaientai DX had some great talent in the group.
Let's just take a look at the five corse members;
Dick Togo- Ridiculously strong for a man his height and possessed great agility. Had a great power/technique team with Mens Teioh and was in a number of other stables over the years.
Mens Teioh- ended up becoming a major player for BJPW and had a fair amount of success throughout Japan.
Shiryu- Kaz Hiyashi was another great wrestler who ended up carving a hell of a career for himself.
Taka Michinoku- The only thing that needs to be said about TAKA was that he was incredible.
Shoichi Funaki- Wrestled for WWE for quite some time and was never really used as well as he could. Still a great wrestler that doesn't get the recognition that he deserves.

The Dangerous Alliance: Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, Steve Austin, Larry Zbyszko, and Madusa with Paul E. Dangerously as the brains. At one point held all the titles in WCW except the World title. The stable was filled with proven veterans who worked as a unit for the greater good.

The Dangerous Alliance was an awesome group, Austin, Rude, Double A, Heyman and more in one group is just an insane gathering of talent on the mic and in the ring.
I'm going to give an honourable mention to the Latino World Order, Eddie Guerrero, Rey, Juventud, Psychosis, La Parka, El Dandy and other talented Luchadores.

Are we talking singular stable, or multiple incarnations? Because if so, the Four Horsemen overall obviously deserve consideration. Flair, The Andersons, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Brian Pillman, Sting, Jeff Jarrett, and Curt Hennig. Granted, there were some duds(Paul Roma, Mongo), but throughout all incarnations, it HAS to be the Horsemen.
But, if we're going for just one single instance of a stable, yeah, Dangerous Alliance all the way.

I'm going with the Horsemen, either the original or Windham version. All four guys could go, all could give you a good promo (more so with Ole than with Barry) and JJ Dillon was a damn fine manager.

I was going to say the Horsemen, but then the LWO was brought up.
Seriously, Eddie, Chavo, Psicosis, La Parka, Juventud, Rey (even though it was against his will).
So much awesomeness it's ridiculous.
I would also like to give honorable (pun intended) mention to Generation Next. Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, Evan Bourne, and Jack Evans, and for a time Alex Shelly too.

Throwing the "kayfabe" reasoning in, so: Evolution. The fact that Evolution's the only stable in history where every member held a world title has to put them in the running for this statement.

The second version of the Horseman. Flair/Arn/Tully/Windham and JJ. Just about every ingredient that made a pro wrestler great was in that group. Promos, confidence, showmanship, psychology, in ring ability, believability factor etc...etc... etc... it was all there.

Original: Flair (world), Tully (U.S. title) Ole (Tag title) Arn (T.V., Tag title)
Second : Flair (world), Luger (U.S.), Arn (Tag) Ole (tag)
Third : Flair (World), Windham (U.S.), Arn and Tully (Tag titles)
4th - Flair (world)
5th - Flair (WCW Champ) Anderson and Roma (Tag)
6th - Flair(World, U.S.), Pillman, Anderson, Benoit - none
7th - Flair , Anderson, Mongo (U.S.), Benoit, Jarrett (U.S.)
8th - Flair, Mongo, Benoit and Malenko(tag titles)

Most talent in one stable? NWO. And I can't even think it's close. However that made them a terrible stable. People who SHOULD have been feuding throughout the upper main event were all stuck in the same group patting each other on the back and occasionally spray painting some schmuck.
Hogan, Hall, Nash, Savage, Luger, Hennig, Dusty Rhodes, Rude, Steiner, that's a lot of wrestling history.

Same thing for the Horseman; anything after Windham, Flair, Ole, JJ, Arn and Tully simply isn't the same, and just a cheap rip off. |

Not totally true since my pick also completed the feat. I'm all in for Team RECK as being the most talented stable. True, while they may not have lasted as long as most of these other stables it's hard to deny Kurt, Edge, Christian and Rhyno as one of the best collections of talent ever. The Embassy at it's height was about as stacked of a stable as one can get in the current indy scene.

Puma & Petey Williams as hired guns
Daizee Haze
Prince Nana
That is an amazing stable.
Another honorable mention goes to DP Associates, who don't get alot of talk. At one point they had CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, Delirious, and several other big names in the group.
