Since neither Andre or Allen are still with us, perhaps Mister Hankey can shed some light on how the shit hit the fan. Umm... I'll be in my bunk, eating Rollos.

Wait a minute. I thought that someone, maybe Bad News himself, mentioned that around that time, Andre was so ill at the time that he couldn't control his bowel movements.

If it was 1992 I wouldnt be shocked that Andre couldnt control his leakage. If he was a couple of awful meals and a few dozen beers deep Im sure his rear end was like an air cannon blowing out black tea

I've been trying to find out when this match actually took place, but have come up with no answers, A lot of people say it was between christmas and news years 92-93, but I feel Andre so close to his death didn't have it in him to work another match after his 3 month Japan tour that ended on December 4th, I think it was during his May 92 visit to Mexico

Andre wore a few different outfits during this time, it was kind of cool to see him all colorful after years of all black or dark blue. He wore the dark blue strap, maybe a different size as he looks a lot bigger overseas in 1992, also a light green strap outfit and a red outfit. I saw pictures years ago but can't find them now. I don't think any of those matches was the Bad News match. Andre's hair was grown out a little more too.
I see Andre as one of the guys who just couldn't let go even though his best days were behind. As a heel with a major feud the Hogan feud was awesome and helped mask his health problems. After Hogan was Jake which was still pretty cool then he was in his final year. He didn't retire after Wrestlemania 6, he teamed with Giant Baba in Japan and even then he kept going in WWF as the outside help to the faces. I imagine Vince was upset with him appearing at the WCW Clash but Andre just stands out as the kind that loves wrestling so much he'd appear for the "competition" of one of the guys who loves him so much. It wasn't like WWF was using him at the time. And he kept going up until weeks before his death. He kept going despite a horrific bodily function accident on another wrestler. I wonder if he hadn't died in early 1993 if he'd still have done something or just retired peacefully to his ranch. Maybe a feud helping a face against Bundy and Dibiase.

Andre would've kept wrestling if he hadn't died. I think he was in a 6 man tag in Japan about three weeks before he died. He could barely even stand (he spent most of the match on the apron, and held the top rope whenever he was in), and got around in a wheelchair when he wasn't in the fans' view, yet he was STILL working.
