Man, his skin looks like Danny Trejo's. You know, shoe leather.

I really hoped Sean had cleaned himself up, though the fact that he's been setting up WWE PPV parties at various nightclubs lately lately gave me doubts about his sobriety.

Addiction is nothing to mess with. The simplest way to beat it is to never start using. Hopefully he can rebound but wrestlers have a hard time staying clean. That may be true but technically addiction is a symptom for a much larger psychological problem rooted in your childhood. For example Waltman just recently revealed he was sexually abused as a kid. That is very common among drug addicts. Another good example is the fact that the Matt and Jeff Hardy's mom died of brain cancer when they were both still kids. I think Jeff was nine and Matt was twelve. I can almost guarantee you that plays a huge role in their drug use today. Sean Waltman needs to enter into a rehab and get on a consistent therapy schedule to work through his issues.

I had assumed he would have been caught with just Pot or something.
This is slightly more troubling.
Although like someone said, we don't know how MUCH of the stuff he was caught with.
How old is he anyhow? Early 40s? He looks worse than he did in his prime, but people DO age, especially people with stressful ass jobs

Mug shots are never a good representation of how you generally look in everyday life. You usually get arrested when you're high, haven't slept, aren't expecting it, etc. Remember Lita's mug shot and how she cleaned up just a few days later for RAW.
As for his wellness, I think Hydrocodone is one of those drugs that people trick themselves into thinking isn't really a drug. Which is dangerous of course. Still, even in his worst days, he's still no Scott Hall. He'll be a recreational drug user as long as he lives, the best he can hope for is to keep it in check, and I think THAT'S what he's succeeded at compared to some of his contemporaries.
Also, it's amazing he's only 39....He really started young and experienced huge fame at a very young age. I don't feel bad for him, the next 10 years won't be as fun as his 20's, for sure, but I think he's doing all right. The guy has crammed a ton of life into 39 years, I don't see him as a failure at all.

I hope this is just a setback, it's awful. I don't like to see anyone in his situation.

I read somewhere that he said it was based on warrants from either late last year or early this year. Not that he was busted recently for anything. I'll try and track it down.
SEAN WALTMAN COMMENTS ON DRUG ARREST by Mike Johnson @ 6:38 PM on 12/26/2011
Sean Waltman took to his Twitter, writing about his recent drug arrest and explaining the timeline of what happened.
Waltman wrote, "I read what has been reported about me. I learned the other day that I had a warrant over something that happened months ago. I was never in jail. I did get my pic taken & printed.I want to elaborate more, but I should talk to my lawyer about what I can say."
Waltman later quipped, "No one looks good in a mug shot."

Looks near death. Man, drugs are a terrible thing. Hes teeth have rotted, his skin is ragged, hair is falling out. He's going to die soon. Shame he's gotta be what 40? in this day and age he'd have another run in him.

Waltman getting arrested wasn't what had me worried or surprised, but the Hydrocodone was. Alot of wrestlers have had problems with prescription drugs and many of them have died from it. Waltman is admittitedly a marijuana user and that really isn't a big problem, especially not life threatening. Hopefully it wasn't as big of a deal as it got made out to be, maybe just a pill or two he had on him on top of a pariphanilia charge. I also thought he was on the right track and hopefully this situation gets him back on it. He seems like a good guy and someone I would like to see do better for himself.

Scroll up to the PWInsider follow up report. This is over a prior incident, nothing recent.

Yeah, I've gotta call you out on this one. I hung out with Sean about a month ago after an indy show my friend wrestled on, and he was clear-headed, obviously not under the influence of anything, and said his problems were taken care of. I talked to him for almost an hour, and the guy said he's really happy in life for the first time in a long time. Didn't look ANYTHING like this picture depicts him. Yeah, he looks a little older than he did back in the day, but time will do that to you. Your comments are far from the truth of the situation. No need for the grim prognosis, friend.

I'm glad to hear it was over something in the past. I wish fans would stop being so quick to crucify somebody in this situation. Not every wrestler that gets arrested is a Matt Hardy or a Tomko.
