So are things looking up then? Well... -Sting's an authority figure -Immortal is basically disbanded (they hang out but don't really do anything) -Robert Roode turned on Storm and Fourtune and is now a chickens*** selfish heel world champion. -Daniels is a delusional jerk. -Garrett Bischoff was built up an underdog babyface -Gunner is apparently some badass now... suposedly -Gail Kim came back as a heel is now the champion feuding with Mickie James -Austin Aries and Kid Kash are heels who hate each other, but still occasionally team -Matt Morgan and Crimson continue to do nothing notable So overall, some good and bad.

Its gotten considerably better, there seems to be a lot more focus on originals and young guys, angles make a lot more sense now. they deliver far better shows.
Only horrible TNA being TNA right now is Garret Bishoff going from ref to super babyface thats going to save the company with a lot of hip tosses(Brother!) and Jeff Hardy's comeback match being totally one sided where he pined Jarrett 3 times inl like 5 minutes, and now wining an opportunity for the title next ppv, way to hot shot the guy right back to main event status. Tho its likeley he wont win it.

I read the results for every week of Impact and every ppv but never feel compelled to watch the show.
Even when I'm not doing anything on Thursday night from 9-11 I still don't bother to cut it on. Tonight for example: watching the WWE Greatest Superstars of the 21st Century dvd set.

I haven't watched since January.
Linecookguy, what say you? Do you think TNA is worth another chance from what you've read?

I haven't gotten to watch a lot (I run a rehearsal Thursday nights and usually watch hockey when I get home), but I'm coming around to giving TNA another real chance based just on what I've read they've done with Bobby Roode. It sounds like they took a real negative (the BFG loss) and turned it into a potential huge positive with his new character.

I'd give it another try Linecookguy, what have you got to lose? If you don't like it, just stop watching again.

I've been a guy who tries to like the product, but something stupid drags me down. It's one of those, as long as I don't think about the storylines too much, I can enjoy some of the in-ring work.
That and I'm going to a live event at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie on the 30th, so I have to get somewhat caught up.

I say it's been getting better since Bound for Glory. No more 15 minute Immortal promos at the start of every show, no unnecessary Hogan, fresh main event scene. You still have to deal with the Bischoffs, but that will be cut down for a while since Gunner took out Garrett.

This was the first time I watched Impact since April 2010. A few thoughts:
- Both the wife and I love Bobby Roode's new character. He reminds us of Shane Douglas, only without the negatives that The Franchise tends to bring to the table.
- Too much Sting. That said, I'd rather have too much Sting than too much Hogan.
- Scott Steiner looks better than he has in years, both physically and otherwise.
- Someone should tell Gunner that the arm warmers were a bad idea.
- Angle is going make James Storm's entire hometown tap? Fantastic.
- Both the wife and I are convinced that Samoa Joe evolving from a human to a gelatinous, blob-like creature ala Jabba the Hut or Mojo from X-Men.
- The Knockouts: What the hell happened?
- This is the first time I've seen the Bully Ray character outside of YouTube. Holy crap. I knew that he was good the mic, but damn.
- Now about Shiima Xion (sorry, but I refuse to call him "Zema Ion"): It seems as if he's working a sanitized version of his original IWC gimmick. (For those unaware, his original back story was that he was an illegal alien from the Philippines that was being forced to be a male model. It was strongly implied that he developed Stockholm Syndrome and was in love with his kidnapper/photographer/manager. Hey... he was a rookie. Rookies in IWC tend to have "odd" gimmicks.) Without the strangeness, he just comes off as just another "pretty boy" heel. I'd rather see him go back to the "goth/glam" gimmick from 2009. That gimmick was fun. Now please keep in mind I'm talking as a person who's been watching the guy do his things for seven years now. What's played out and boring to me might be new and interesting to everyone else.
- I just don't buy Jeff Hardy as a main eventer. He's alright, but he's not on the same level as Bobby Roode or AJ Styles.
- I honestly do not care about Devon's family. Same goes with the Jarretts.
- Decent main event. It actually makes me want to watch the show next week to see what happens.
Overall, it wasn't a bad show. It's definitely not what it used to be, but it's leagues better than what it was immediately after Hogan and Bischoff took over.

I stopped being interested in the product, because they got rid of Jay Lethal and started using eric young sporadically (He reminds me of WCW jericho). I loved those guys..
It also broke my heart to see AJ Styles suck, and Samoa Joe being held back.. With that said, having hogan on there bored me to tears.
Also I don't understand the appeal of Matt Morgan.
So.. I just faded out from watching it..
Now that Austin Aries is back I might start watching it agaaaaiiiiinnnnn

Personally since Bound For Glory I think it has been by far the best wrestling show on television. Very entertaining with loads of different interesting characters (Daniels, Roode, Aries etc.). Still far from perfect with guys like Morgan, Crimson, Gunner and Garrett Bischoff still getting airtime. And guys like Joe, Doug Williams etc. either stuck in midcard obscurity or not used at all. But it's certainly improved tenfold since BFG IMO.
