I can picture Hogan getting pissed off at a roast if fellow wrestlers dissed on him, cause they know first hand how big a dickhead he is.

wasn't everyone making gay jokes about Hogan? the roasters that is
seems like he'd like to forget that he could laugh all that off, if he's seriously going after Linda for defamation. it won't look good if he's doing a Roast and at the same time acting like his reputation has been smudged. though it really shouldn't be that way... i guess

I don't know if Hogan would agree to this. I could see too many steroid jokes being made.... Given the fact that his wife divorced him for a teenager and then accused him of having a gay affair with a guy called Beefcake, I think steroid jokes would be the least of it

"I can't figure out why you're wife dumped you for a teenager, I mean its not like after a lifetime of steroids and painkillers that you can't still Hulk out where it counts!"

I'm pretty sure a Hogan roast would just be showing the WCW match with Warrior and the cage match with Piper set to a laugh track.

I would rather they do a Vince McMahon roast, with Hogan as one of the roasters. Also, why was the Charlie Sheen one a disappointment? I thought it was funny. To me it felt like they spent most of the time busting each other, and then taking a minute to praise Charlie. Considering the raw material they had to work with, it felt like they held back a lot.

Probably because Sheen told them how far they could go with insults. Some of the roastees are cool with a total burial while others still want to control their image. I think the moment someone call Hulk bald or say he's banging his daughter and someone who looks like his daughter, Hogan going to quit the roast.

I thought it was okay, but I can't watch it since Patrice O'Neal died. They spent half the roast talking about his health and how he was going to have a stroke. Two months later he does, and two months after that he dies.

I would like to add that after Hogan took part in the Hasslehoff roast and made fun of his recent lack of a career, I had images of TNA bringing Hasslehoff in to feud with Hogan, including attacking him backstage and KO'ing him with a toilet seat (this was when Hogan was suing his wife over a toilet seat) with the words "Hire this!" written on it.

The daughter thing could bug him, but the bald thing wouldn't. He was makign bald jokes at his own expense at times, like when he took Kurt Angle's wig, post Hair vs Hair with Edge, and then took off his own bandana and pointing at his own baldness.

I think the moment someone call Hulk bald or say he's banging his daughter and someone who looks like his daughter, Hogan going to quit the roast. You obviously didn't watch Hasselhoff's roast. They called him gay, said his daughter was a man, and said everything you mentioned. He didn't have a problem with it then.

Hogan on the other hand is known for fiercely protecting his public image.

No, he meant at the Hasselhoff roast, they said those things about Hogan.

Without Greg or Patrice, it won't quite feel the same.
