It was a throwaway gag from the December 8th episode called "Yellow Subterfuge." Bart was desperate to make it to school on time and the "Oscar's Obstacles" truck jackknifed leaving debris all over the road and sidewalks. |

So, I have enough money for one thing...what should I go with? The Springfield Downs or the Java Server? Thinking the Downs since I have a chance to win more money than earning it from 6 hours.

You also have the chance to lose money all the time on Springfield Downs. Don`t you need both for storyline anymore? Springfield Downs unlocks something or someone that I don't recall now though. |

Neither the Java Server or Springfield Downs unlocks anybody, according to the Simpsons Wiki.

Aside from the numerous Xmas version of houses, I got Mr. Plow, Plow King, Yeti, snowman versions of Bart, Lisa and Grandpa, and the helter shelter.

I managed to clear the Wheel of Doom about 2 weeks ago, I spent 50 donuts on tokens before realizing I would get more tokens for every 1000 gift cards. Oh well, I feel it was worth it since I wanted everything on the wheel. It does however suck that I can't use Plow King since I don't have Barney yet, 114 donuts so I'll just keep saving up.
Very happy that the snow is gone and the Xmas update has passed, been wanting to rearrange a few things in my town but not having gridlines was a bit of a pain.
As for the question about the Java Server or Downs, I say get the Downs as you do have the chance to win money, in my experience playing your best to bet on the 9-1 odds as it seems to pay out the most. I have only hit the Jackpot on it once and picked up $200,000 which was nice but don't expect it to happen too often.

I was finally able to get Mr. Plow before updating. That was the best thing I received. I think the rest was a couple of snowmen and a few thousand dollars.
Having said that, I'm happy to see the update. I was getting burned out on the Christmas theme.

Never got Plow King, what a f***ing rip job, I did manage to get about $15,000 off the wheel, which at the top level gets preciously you f*** all. You could build an actual building for real money less than the fake money they use. Wonder who's gonna be available for doughnuts, about $20 of actual, real money soon???

Was stuck in the Christmas update until I remembered I had to update through the App Store to get the X Mas change and checked it to find the X Mas is removed that way as well.

Level 38(possible) update expected sometime today to introduce Judge Snyder and possibly the Blue-haired Lawyer. Introducing the judicial character is expected to eventually result in Sideshow Bob being introduced as a playable character.
