Yeah, I don't see how that can make any sense seeing as 1, the statue is made of copper and 2, it's been sitting there for nearly 130 years. I can just about buy the Daleks having a hand in contructing the Empire State Building but the Staute of Liberty being a Weeping Angel is a leap too far.

I guess I just thought that might be fun. Age thing is surely unimportant as to Weeping Angels 130 years isn't very long.

I loved the majority of this episode. It had a bad case of the Mass Effect 3s, though, in that it was awesome all up until we got to the resolution. DEFINITELY should have been a two-parter, which the second part resolving the conflict of this episode and having the Doctor give Amy and Rory proper goodbyes. Also, me mum got me an early birthday present, this REALLY awesome looking Dalek propaganda poster. I have it on the wall facing the foot of my bed, meaning that every morning I wake up, the first thing I'll see is a Dalek.

How can you not like Amy? She's so pretty. 1) Prettiness of a character cannot take away from the fact she is annoying, overly confident know it all with a horrid attitude and a chip on her shoulder. 2) Gay, so prettiness factor is negated off the bat

gonna go out on a limb and call it now:
one or both die, the Doctor takes this very badly (Rorys dad asking if companions have died in the past last episode) attempts to make amends by doing a 'christmas miracle' for the christmas special, goes back in time, to collect his new companion and stopping her from becoming a dalek. Crossing his own time line has bigtime reprocussions and the Christmas episode ends on the cliffhanger of his past regenerations appearing (as many as they can pull off at least).
This leads into the 50th anniversary next year...
fantasy booking/(un)educated guess or whatever, this is the prediction I am making x

We were joking at lunch that maybe it's not the statue that becomes an angel, since it's made of metal as noted, but (dun dun dun) the pedestal.
That being said, I look forward to seeing Mike McShane's role and to see how Les Ponds are written out. Though I do think we're due for a little more Time Lord Victorious.

Matt Smith just cannot act angry without coming off like a petulant child, and I find it really hard to connect with that, I know it's somewhat intentional and all, but still.
