Fantasy horror story today: I had the Chicago D, Brandon Marshall, Matt Forte, and 145 total team points. My opponent had Adrian Peterson and Doug Martin! Down 70 points needing a Pierre Thomas miracle Monday night! F***ing ouch.

Up by 9, I have Colston while my opponent has Vick. I fear this will not end well for me... You won by 0.44 points. AND THAT WASN'T EVEN THE CLOSEST MARGIN OF VICTORY! I won by 0.26 points. EDIT: You're still in first Vyse, but I at least regained 2nd.

.34 points actually. But either way, I won and andrew8798 lost, meaning I now have sole possession of 1st!

If I had started Rashad Jennings over Run-DMC, I could've slipped DeSean Jackson into my Flex spot. He got my bench 30 points tonight (# of receptions, yards, 40-yarders, & 40-yard TDs are all scored in this league). Had I gone that route, I'd be leading my league way more than only 144 points!

I won by 22.17 because LeSean McCoy, Lance Moore and Malcolm Jenkins managed to almost completely cancel out all the point gain Drew Brees and Curtis Lofton gained. 9-0 EDIT: I would've won by more if I started Nate Washington over Lance Moore. The same for if I started Heath Miller over Tony Gonzalez.

You won by .32 points in week 1, which WAS the closest margin of victory in the league this year. Until my victory tonight. But you at least have #2 and #3 on the list.

Just picked up a HUGE upset in the Yahoo league, so now I'm 2-7.
I guess it could be worse. Last year in MGH's NFL.com league, I didn't win my second game until the final game of the season!

I traded Ryan Fitzpatrick for Alex Smith in fantasy football. Neither will be massive for fantasy numbers but Fitz just throws too many picks for my taste and Smith might be my starter as Rivers has been horrible because he has no blocking and almost no weapons.

I'm not really sure who I should start this week:
Philip Rivers against the Bucs or Alex Smith against the Rams.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I'd start Smith. Rivers throws quite a bit of receptions for my taste.
Question folks. I have CJ Spiller in the flex, with Miles Austin and Andre Johnson on the bench. If Marshawn Lynch doesn't get cleared by Sunday, I'll have to put Spiller in the starter RB position. But if not, who should be my flex?

I'd say Miles Austin. The Chicago D might be a bit tough for Andre.
I'm in a bit of a conundrum myself. I've got 4 RBs, but can only start 3. - Arian Foster @ Chi - Adrian Peterson vs. Det - Marshawn Lynch vs. NYJ - Reggie Bush vs. Tennessee I almost want to sit Arian Foster because he's facing the monstrous Chicago D (who I also own), but I just wouldn't feel right putting him on the bench. Right now Bush is on my bench. This is assuming that they're all healthy.
What do you guys think?

From a match up perspective Austin has a better match up against an Eagles defense that couldn't stop molasses in January so I'd go with him.

They said AP missed a practice because of a stomach bug, but that he's fine, and w/ Percy Harvin out now, AP is taking all the steam. Lynch is also going up against a beat and exhausted NYJ D. They call him "Beast Mode" for a reason. The toughie is either Foster or Bush. You got that Chicago D, right? Well, if you start Foster w/ that D, you got two people in the same game, which is forcing you to have a certain situation having to play out for you. If Foster scores TD's for you, you'll get points for him, but it cancels out with you having the Chicago D. Meanwhile, TEN's D is a little easier to soak up. It all depends on what your projections are for each. If it's about a good 5 point difference between one or the other, then start that person. If it's miniscule, then it shouldn't matter. I'd go with Bush. Just easier, personally.

Dilemma.
Brady vs. Bills, or Roethlisberger vs. Chiefs?

Can I have a fantasy week where it DOESN'T come down to the wire.
I need a McCoy TD and all should be okay though, unless Houston's D s***s the bed tonight.
