Is that suppose to be Trips' estimated worth as a wrestler only? I would think he'd be worth much more due to being an executive.

im surprised that Jericho is up pretty high Fozzy and various endorsements/appearances probably boost the numbers by a fair sum. Plus, what, 3 game shows, just about every VH1 recap show and his books.

I don't know about accuracy, but they explain the process in the first paragraph. CelebrityNetworth.com has published this article listing the richest professional wrestlers in the world, with figures acquired from all publicly available information including salaries, real estate holdings, divorces, record sales, royalties and endorsements. The estimated net worths come from a formula that takes out taxes, manager’s fees, agents' fees, and lifestyle. The list states: I get that but...how are salaries publicly available information? For publicly traded companies, major salaries could be public info, as that sort of thing has to be available for stock holders. For the ones who aren't major companies, they probably get it the way we do, from wrestling news articles and such. Either way, there's likely a ton of wiggle room in this, I wouldn't take it as much but educated guesses.

im surprised that Jericho is up pretty high I'm not surprised. He apparently makes a lot of bonus money from great PPV performances. The figures he lists on his book is quite astonishing. Still I'm guessing this is pretty NEWZY information. Sting is probably loaded since he gets paid a million dollars every year in TNA in which travel is light and he does real estate I hear. I also imagine he's not a hardcore party animal but a suburban family man. It's all speculation I guess. I wouldn't be surprised if The Rock has a higher net worth since he came in #70 at Forbes most powerful celebrities this year. Still they are probably right on the money that The Rock, Austin, and Cena are the three richest wrestlers currently.

I actually don't think they are because that would be confidential information, releasing it would make retaining people too hard. Everything they are using would be 2nd or 3rd hand info at best.

Right from the actual article. Find me an actual list from WWE that contains the salaries. It is not in their investor info because, as has been established in the TNA/WWE lawsuit along with several others, salary info is not publicly available because of tampering issues. As I said, the info used is all 2nd and 3rd hand, coming from people like Meltzer who can only guess. WWE does not release this info. This site guessed at everything.

Damn that's a big gap between Vince and everyone else, even with all Rock's Hollywood success he doesn't come close. And I don't know how Del Rio is worth 6 million when he has only been in WWE for a couple of years, even if he is their golden boy.
I also thought Lesnar was worth more due to being the biggest PPV draw in UFC history. It also surprises me that Taker or Shawn don't have more.

Wow Hogan got shafted in his divorce - I thought he'd be very high on the list after the 80s, the WCW contracts and the extras outside the ring like the movies, and everything.
Not a lot between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels - though both were at the top during a down time for the WWF, but Bret got the big WCW money, and HBK worked all those extra years after 2002. Seems they can't be separated anywhere...
Just noticed CM Punk has $0.5 million more than Jerry Lawler - surely he'll work that into a promo sometime soon ;D

***Hogan lost an estimated $25 million in his divorce from ex-wife Linda Hogan. Linda was awarded 70% of the couple’s liquid assets, a 40% stake in all of Hulk’s companies, six luxury cars and millions more in property***
God, that is such an incredible level of bullshit. 70%. Not even just 50%. 70%. The woman who did absolutely nothing whatsoever to earn that money, gets more than Hogan. In a logical world, she'd get a million at best, and that would be that.
Shes an utter scumbag for taking it, the lawyer is for making it happen, and the whole system is totally ridiculous. Hogan did the work. Back breaking work for 3 decades. But that ungrateful bitch gets that much.
It's Hogans money, period. Legal theft is how he lost it...

I love how we've been hearing about how "broke" Linda left Hulk after the divorce, and then I see that he's got 5 million dollars. I'd LOVE to be Hogan "broke". There's a documentary about him joining TNA, and he's in a gigantic house, with no furniture in it, and the "narator" tells us that his wife took many of his houses, well, with 5 million dollars you can't buy anything to go into your house i guess, well your houses actually, but the poor guy lost like 10 out of his 15 mansions, look at him watching the empty walls with tears in his eyes, that's so sad.

Still trying to figure out how Chyna out earned Jeff Hardy and Trish Stratus..... Didn't Mark Herny get a long term gurantee contract that was earning him big bucks?

Still trying to figure out how Chyna out earned Jeff Hardy and Trish Stratus..... Chyna's porn career has been pretty profitable so far, her DVDs have been huge sellers and you can bet she cut a good royalty deal on top of her salary. Plus being a celebrity train wreck is generally a good way to get a slice of big tabloid money.

Actually not too surprised to see 'Taker so far down the list. Look at the people above him. They've done movies, had endorsement deals, written books, hosted tv programs, etc. Guys like Austin and Cena may get a cut from replicas of their custom belts. Does 'Taker even have a shirt for sale?

He could've held out in court and prevented her, but instead he just settled quietly and gave her everything. I think she has dirt on him that will never see the light of day now.

I think the reason she got that much was because Hogan decided to pay it all in one lump sum rather than go the alimony route. Now he gets all his earnings without having to pay Linda squat. Probably learned from Ric Flair.

That's a lot of words to say "we're pulling these figures from our collective asses". How would someone like Mysterio have the same lifestyle expenses as Flair? The Miz has paid the same agent fees as someone like Goldberg? Kane doesn't rank, but CM Punk is up there? Yeah...
