Maybe they should book the show like the old SNME, and like SNL currently - front-load the show with all the big stuff, and then wind down so you have the lower profile stuff at the end. You could sell higher ad rates for the first hour, and lower rates for the third hour, and maybe you come out ahead if everyone knows they have to turn in at the start for the best stuff.

That sounds pretty cool except it might lead to a lot of the audience leaving early if they know it's totally frontloaded, which might not look so good on TV.

I just can't sit through the entire three hours, and this is even with a recorded fast forward TV system in place. Three hours of Wrestling is something I'll go through once a month for PPV's on the basis that the PPV would generally mean something and be the best of the product, but when it's just three hours of common Raw action, such as AJ Lee sitting in the ring screaming for an entire segment, it's just hard to take.

So strange. Usually it's the first hour that has the drop. This week it's the third.

It's really sad to see Raw taking such a hit in the ratings. I wont say that they should go back to 2 hours, but Raw's been bland as hell since 1000 aside from the "Anger Management" stuff.

People burnt out, I always have to take a break around 10:30. 3 hours is a long time

As we've been saying, a regular 3 hour broadcast is just to long, drawn out and it ends up being tiring. An occasional special 3hr Raw can work, a regular 3hr Raw, not so much so.

in hour 3 we had: Cesaro/Santino (casual fan: "YAWN!") Ryder/Slater (casual fan: "wtf where are dem superstars?") AJ/Vickie segment (*casual fan watches Pawn Stars, turns TV off*) Cena/Alberto brawl (casual fan takes a nap)

WWE just really needs to understand that Raw is just too long, I have a big family who is cramped in a little house, and Mondays are usually when all the movies come on and stuff so even three hours is a lot to take out of my day and bug my brothers and sisters about.

They know 3 hours is too much and don't want to do it. The thing is USA Network wants 3 hours and WWE NEEDS to keep USA happy so they are doing 3 hours.

As hilarious as I thought the hugging segment was I'm not surprised people were tuning out during it. Casual fans aren't watching a wrestling show to see people hug. Yeah, but we need to remember WWE gained it's highest audience ever for the "This is your life, Rock" sketch. Of course Kane/DBry are not Rock/Foley, but I'm just trying to put comedy sketchs in the proper context. That audience didn't also have to sit through another hour of Raw. I found it weird AJ/Vickie GAINED viewers. Actually I was listening to free edition of the Bryan and Vinnie show on the observer site and I think they hit. The show is stagnant. Nobody moves up, nobody really moves down. The WWE isrunning basically the same matches and feuds for the past several months.

And that's what happens when you give one of your titles to someone most people watching your show have never heard of.
Antonio Cesaro should not be US Champion right now.

Yeah, because Santino was really bringing in the ratings when he was champion.

The vast majority of people watching RAW aren't going know anyone that has spent their entire run on Smackdown, NXT and PPV YouTube Preshows. Cesaro is fine as champ but the booking and use is of him up to getting the belt is the bad thing.
