Can't argue LSU getting jumped. They looked way off yesterday. If Bama can jump USC, Oregon can jump LSU. I would have had FSU do it personally, but it'll all even out down the line.

If a team is banned from post-season play, what's the point in having them in the polls?

If a team is banned from post-season play, what's the point in having them in the polls? I would guess to help with the BCS formula about beating ranked teams/strength of schedule.

If a team is banned from post-season play, what's the point in having them in the polls? The AP poll doesn't have any bearing on post season play anymore, so they can rank whoever they want.

I would have dropped LSU to #4 behind FSU.

I don't think anyone is going to have to worry about it anyway. Alabama will take care of them as it is. If you drop them to #5 aren't you kind of unintentionally admitting that Georgia would have to be legit then?

Got no issue both with LSU dropping and where they landed; you can't really justify knocking them down any further at this point without the most nitpicky of arguments, and as was said, Bama is gonna run them over anyway.
And I stand by my assessment that the title is the Crimson Tide's to lose. I hate 'em, and I may be proven wrong, but for right now the talent and depth gulf between them and everyone else legit looks that big.

I would have had K-State jump Georgia, because Georgia's schedule has been cheesecake and K-STate just beat a ranked team.

That would be like saying anyone who beat Iowa State last year was legit just because they managed to beat OK State.

My god I can't believe Iowa State has an actual chance of being ranked. When was the last time that happened? 02 before the actually played their conference?

I think I'd have to just pretend like college football didn't exist if this were to happen. I hate this team, a few of its fans, and (mostly) its coach more than I can properly summarize on an Internet message board. /rant
