Someone beat them and you'll all be spared. No we won't. Only way that would work is if they lost to an unranked team. They lose to a ranked team I am damn sure they will still weasel their way into the title game.

USC is lucky to only fall to 13, they struggled for most of the game against Syracuse and then lost to Stanford. It looks like USC was the first team to be exposed as overrated this season. Wisconsin and Arkansas?

Wisconsin? We knew they'd struggle without Russell Wilson and Al Toon.
They don't have the horsepower on offense they had a year ago.

Wisconsin and Arkansas? To be fair, I didn't hear a lot of hype as Wisconsin or Arkansas as National Championship contenders.

The only way I think we'll see a rematch of LSU/Alabama for the NC game is if no one else ends up undefeated, and there's still a pretty good shot that at least one other team will end up undefeated in a major conference. They're 1 and 2 in the AP on week 3, let's not crown their asses yet. Complaining about it this early in the season is really, really annoying.

It's too bad the previous thread has been buried and technically dosnt exist anymore. Or I'd quote my own posts about Notre Dame beating sparty and getting a big bounce. Also said in July, that USC would be beaten early. Yes, rooting my own horn just this once. A&M will beat either LSU or Bama and you won't have to worry.

Why am I fearing Mizzou as a trap game?

Looking forward to clemson/FSU. First ACC game I have said that about in a long time. ULM can stay in the spotlight with a win over Baylor. Coming home after those two games against the SEC, the crowd is gonna be live and will help the warhawks

LSU starting junior RB Alfred Blue suffered a knee injury against Idaho that will keep him out during this weekend's matchup with Auburn and likely several more weeks after that.

Now all I need is for the every single other member of the team to get injured and Auburn might just have a chance of winning!

Updating a previous item, TCU junior RB Waymon James will now miss the rest of the 2012 season after discovering the "tweaked" knee was more severe than initially diagnosed.

Second straight Saturday night that my remote will be busy. I got a double-or-nothing lunch bet riding on Michigan/ND so that'll take up a bulk of my time. Interesting matchups, though.
