If he did, it wouldn't make sense for them to show the horrible one, knowing it would piss people off. It's THQ we're talking about here. I'll second this. I don't know how much really goes into these reveals, you know? They might want to keep some things a surprise, a standing ankle lock would make me giddy. ALSO: Ledesma announced that the last WWE 13 press conference will be on Oct 3rd. This is most likely when we are going to find out about Universe mode and possibly the create modes.

Top rope moves still can't pin. Hilarious Yeah they can. There have been videos showing the pin prompt. I'm guessing certain moves like Gabriel's 450 can't because of the selling animation.

It's amazing that it took them 3 years to fix something that never should've been broken in the first place. Top rope moves pinning people is basic. I'll never understand this company...

seriously. I watched 3 different finishers not pin so I figured it was still broken. My bad.
damn, this place is getting so angry. Every thread turns into mean spirited sarcasm and bickering.
so let's just talk about Khali finally being in the game. A long awaited return.

Having themes play in the background menus is fine and all.... BUT I WANT THE RETURN OF THIS I'd rather have this as my closing credits theme. Complete with Mick Foley walking down a hallway.

New moves confirmed to be in, as posted by Bryan Williams:
KENTA's Busaiku Knee Kick Orton's Elevated Neckbreaker Big Show's Colossal Clutch (Breaking Point Submission) Lasso From El Passo (Breaking Point Submission) Sheamus' Forearm Blows to opponent in the ropes
And apparently, a proper Package Piledriver has been added to the Create-A-Finisher mode.

Ah yes, from KENTA's storied stay in the WWE during the Attitude Era. But no seriously, nice.

That's promising. They say they added like 300 moves. Which, when you think about it, thats a crap ton.

You now this got me thinking. What with the terrible in-game music for menus and stuff (I usually mute them first thing), they should let you tap into your personal playlists and let it play your own music. Very minor idea that wouldn't break or make the game, but an idea. Aniother thing I'd love in one of these games is a create a manager, seeing as how managers seem to be making a comeback. It wouldn't need to have entrances or moves. Just create the visuals, set the type they are (face, heel, if they interfere) and the game plays them with a stock set of options. That is if they fix how botched managers and the ref act int he game. Would also be nice to include some Superstar + Manager entrances.

I wish more PS3 games, for example, would let you tap into your playlists. Not to go too much off topic, but GTA would kill with your own playlist radio station.
Back on subject, I always go through the Create a Moveset first when I buy the game to see what the new moves are. Then I play a match and go through that year's career/Road to WrestleMania/Story Mode.

Created finishers from the top can pin, but it can also be a hindrance to a great match if you weren't going for the pin immediately, hence the no-pin on most top rope moves. However, I wouldn't be opposed to a prompt to pin from the top, mid-move. No Mercy had it right, but then again to always use that as the measuring stick, why not just play that game?
